Treeland Resorts & Harbor View Restaurant

This review is for the Harborview Restaurant.Tuesdays are Taco night, Trivia night & there is a Meat Raffle supporting the Hayward Sports Center. With great drinks, exceptionally friendly & attentive staff, decent tacos, great pizza & some of the best ice cream around, how could you go wrong? You can't! Another plus, the bathrooms are spotless & the outside deck is a delightful spot on a beautiful evening.

I'm not sure what all the hype is with this place. Their "tacos" are pretty much the worst tacos I've ever had and are pretty much the only item on the menu on a Tuesday. I know there are many variations of the taco, but these were inedible. Went back to try their pizza (also apparently all the rage) and was simply not impressed at all. Unfortunately, had the same super unfriendly server both visits. It's a pretty long drive out from Hayward and definitely not worth it in my opinion. But try it for yourself. That's all.Oh, I completely forgot. The side salad. Was $5 and served in a coffee saucer. Just saying...

We just had a one week trip here and it was, as my brother in law loves to say, amaaaaaaaaazing. The lodge has excellent food, a really nice and cozy bar, great service and great hours. Not much more you can ask for in addition to a comfy resort with great water access. We will definitely come back.

Terrible customer service. We rented a boat from Treeland, on day 2 the boat would not start. We were out an entire day and Treeland offered nothing. We asked if the kids could get in the pool to cool off for a few minutes while we waited for maintenance on our boat and were denied. Will not give them out service again.

The service was horrible. Top five lifetime poor. Hostess didn't tell the server she had our table and we sat unattended for 15 minutes. Complained while waiting interminably for our food. Asked to see the manager and they sent out the Cook manager. May have well been talking to the wall and got no response. Pointed out we had had to fetch our own silverware, and our water pitchers had been empty for 15 minutes. They never did refill the waters. When the food finally arrived, the side orders were cold, so cold that we had to ask whether they were supposed to be cold and were informed no in fact they were hot, even though they had been served at refrigerator temperature. absolutely no one cared languished in a near empty restaurant waiting for what turned out to be very mediocre food. A year ago we had had a good experience, took six guests on Friday and were thoroughly embarrassed by the service. Find somewhere else for a fish fry. Treeland will be horribly disappointing to you.

Not a great experience. The staff is unfriendly and the customer service is not good. Very disappointed.

We used to really love this place, but unfortunately had a bad experience there tonight. We always stop by here during our annual trip to Hayward, and had great experiences. However tonight, we were greeted with a woman who asked us to move tables, then proceeded to berate the worker who sat us there. After that, we waited over an hour for our food to come. Our waitress also checked on us maybe twice the whole night. Overall a very poor experience for mediocre food.

I'm so bummed. This used to be one of our favorite places. Their Friday fish was our favorite but not anymore! No more potato pancakes, no apple fritters (now just stale mini muffins?), and icky coleslaw with the Friday night fish. I would imagine they're feeling it in the register too...this past Friday night, there wasn't even a wait for a table! To top it off, I believe our blond waitress is the owners daughter-She was so unfriendly - such a terrible example for all the young kids working there. We're heading somewhere else for fish this week. Hopefully Treeland ownership brings back their old Friday fish dinner.

Good food and friendly environment. The service was average but loved the bar and mystery shots!

First try here: An hour and a half wait for a cheeseburger.Second try here: 25 minute wait in 93 degree heat; no water, no server, no nothing. Left.There will be no third try here.
