Stopped here twice. Once on the way to our destination and once on the way back. Interesting place to say the least and it's entertaining to walk through and see all of the useless crap that will eventually end up at the thrift store. I agree with others that a lot of the kitsch is overpriced, but some stuff is reasonable. My son wanted two beanie babies that he had played with in school with his friends and they were reasonable. They advertise clean bathrooms.Pets can come in as long as they are carried.Fun little photo ops outside and the staff is friendly. Worth a visit.

Got a chance to stretch my legs here one day on a mini road trip and I would definitely recommend this place! This is such a cute this spot to stop with adults and kids! They have soooooo many things to look at and this place is a decent size. They do have restrooms here as well as a large free parking lot! The service here was wonderful! They gave each of my boys an extra small toy with their toy purchases. There was also a section of prewrapped items that were awesome because my kids felt like they were getting gifts! The prices I felt were all very reasonable! If you are passing through, stop, stretch and purchase a little something

The kiddos in my family call this "the souvenir store." It is packed of merchandise from toys, garden decor, in the house decor, clothes, snacks, mystery box, and other Knick knacks. My family calls it inexpensive shop but I bought a plush for $25, a small bag of taffy for $10, and a keychain with my name for $7. Overall, a good place to find gifts. Some things may be expensive.

An unusual place with a lot of gadgets and gizmos that are fun to look at, but expensive to purchase. We usually stop by on trips north to check out their collection of toy army men. We always find something for the kids here. They also have a Trump section. Also personalized items, overpriced shoes and jewelry.

It had been many years since I've been here. I was without the rest of family so I stopped in. Signs say clean bathrooms and free ice. There were frozen pipes so no bathrooms and due to covid, no free ice. The store is so super cluttered with narrow rows. Solar Dollar Tree Trinkets are $3.95 here. There are plenty of personalized gifts such as magnets, coasters, shot glasses if you have a common name. I asked about cross rocks that are hard to find at Blanchard Dam. They had some smaller than a dime for $12.99. There were sea shells, star fish, alligator heads. Crap you'd find in Florida. This store seems to have an identity crisis. There were 1970's cedar jewelry boxes. The store is for sale and no buyer yet. I understand why. I did buy my son a personalized MN license plate magnet and class of 2022 Keychain. Oh and if you use a credit card you are charged 4%. This is upsetting as everything was overpriced anyway. Lots of you break and you buy signs. Unless they have a clearance or going out of business sale, chances are I won't be back.

5/5 for kids. If my parents had stopped here years ago on a trip to our grandparents, I would have spent all day in here. The section of pirate knick-knacks alone would have drained my allowance for a year.As an adult, it is basically a store completely packed full of overpriced, gaudy trinkets that would gather dust on a shelf. However, there isn't much to stop and look at on the drive to Bemidji, so I'll stick with the rating that my inner-child has given.

OMG, I am not sure even how to begin to describe this place. Think of the gaudiest place on earth, place it in Minnesota and you've got Treasure City. I'd driven by this place a few times and curiosity finally got the best of me.This place has every knickknack known. There are sections exclusive to toy unicorns and ponies, toy guns, seashells, wind chimes and everything in-between.Walking through the aisles, There is no more than 3 feet between the two and there are plenty of aisles to choose from, each is different from the other.I would imagine that this place is a dream to children however mine, while intrigued were not that interested with the contents inside.I was baffled by the amount of each item they had in stock and probably more interested in how they inventory and stock each item. I'm hardly exaggerating when I say they probably had 100 identical ponies/unicorns.I have to say that I'm glad I stopped in however it will be the last time that I stop on my way through.

If I could give Treasure City a hundred stars, I would. This place is every kid's dream. When I was a kid we'd stop here on our way to Grandma's house. It's like a child's heaven. Any childhood treasure you can imagine, they have. Magic tricks. Indian feather caps. Pop guns. Mermaid tails. Princess dresses. Polished gems. Plastic dinosaurs. Cowboy hats. Dolls. Robots. Treasure chests. Animal figurines. Sea Monkeys. Kites. Butterfly nets. Jewelry. You want it, they got it. This entire barn is dedicated to childhood treasures, and they carry them all. It's is an incredible place and I believe every child should go once in their life. I live in California, but one of the first things I ask myself when I plan a Minnesota trip is "will Treasure City be on my way to so-and-so?" If it's not, I'll usually drive an hour our of the way to go. I love Treasure City!!

I have been going here since I was a kid ... I am now 74 years old! If I get near Royalton, I will stop into Treasure City. So much good stuff!!! Lots of variety! When I was a kid, I would save my allowance to spend there when my family was on the way to the Lakes. My kids, then grandkids, also got the treat of stopping there! I still remember my birchbark canoe which treasured until it fell apart. ( I would float it in the lake which didn't help!) Now I love the Scandinavian joke books! If you have kids ... or are a kid at heart, fun place to stop! And you may find great treasures there!

Absolutely love to stop at this place on the way to the cabin. It was awesome to see a friendly staff and tons of toys for the kids. I was also very happy to see such strong support for our president. Lots of maga and trump flags. Fudge the haters. If you don't like it leave.
