There is a small restaurant inside this small town grocery (it's a fantastic grocery by the way). The breakfast is simple, cheap, and good. Locals and tourists sat booth to booth enjoying a fine breakfast... and the pancakes are almost larger than the plate.

I like the happy little breakfast cafe in this grocery store in Glenwood MN. People here tend to be very happy about the incredibly inexpensive breakfast specials such as Egg Bake for $1.19. It's a sweet little piece of Americana that is greatly appreciated by the locals. Check it out for yourself. You too may be delighted. I rate this 3 stars for A-OK.

I've shopped here for groceries many times. I've also eaten at the cafe in the store. This store has many basic things. It's the only grocery store in the middle of a food desert, the only real grocery store in Pope County. The cafe has cheap food. The meat department is woefully lacking in good healthy options. You are better off going to Glenwood Meats. There are almost no organic foods here. You are better off driving to Alexandria to find organic produce. This grocery store has to keep things cheap because Pope County is agriculturally dominated and most folks don't have much money. If you are used to shopping at Costco , Whole Foods, or Trader Joe's, this grocery store is quite disappointing as there are not many healthy options to choose from.

They have a cafe/ restaueaunt that serves a darn good breakfast , and though the store hours are 7 am- 8 pm you can usually walk in at 6:30 and get your groceries

This place is great! Good prices, and nice people. Every time we check out the people say hi and are nice.
