Had a great first visit to Tommy's Malt Shop!The staff were very friendly and the vibe was great!We had some onion rings to share with our malts.I had the Smoked Lucy Burger, which was very flavorful.My wife had the Chicken Bacon Club, which was the star of the show!The malts were great and refreshing on the warm day.We will definitely be back!

I had the grilled chicken club and I enjoyed it just fine. My daughter had the breaded chicken sandwich & said it tasted weird, but was trying not to complain and so continued eating it. When my other kid tasted her sandwich, they were like yeah, that tastes bad, like the oil from the fryer was dirty. My daughter left with a bad stomach ache and feeling upset I did not care for the ambiance. Weird dark, dim lights and a dark blue color that didn't fit. The fan from the kitchen and the greasy air feeling was overwhelming. No silverware. No options, like soups or good salad choices. This is just your burger in a basket meal that you might as well get at Culver's for half the price and a much cheerier atmosphere. Disappointing. Looks so retro and cozy from the outside, but just a lame dive.

Stopped by after the corn maze for some burgers and malts.First time here & would highly recommend this place.Fast fresh & delicious.Waitress was great.

Great service and great food. The malts were delicious and the staff was super friendly. Great place to take family and kids or for a quick date night in town.

I so badly wanted to give this place 5 stars after the impeccable service, but unfortunately the burger I had almost make me sick afterwards. It was really dry and I only ate half of it. Definitely a frozen patty that isn't the best quality of meat. I don't think I'll ever have their burgers again, but I would try another option on their menu.Their malts are fantastic though and you get a lot for the price!

This is the second time I've come to the new location and I've been disappointed both times. They've done something different to their food and it does not taste the same. Chicken fingers were extremely overdone and my son said he felt like he was just biting into a bunch of crunch with no chicken inside. The fries are tasteless with no seasoning again just different from the last location. I was dismissed by the waitress and equally dismissed with no resolution from the owner when I brought up my concerns. She just said I'm sorry we don't want you to be disappointed, but didn't offer a resolution. Unfortunately I do not believe we will be back. It is too bad because we loved the old location in Chaska.

Thanks Tommy's Malt Shop for providing great service and great food!! I would drive 30 min out of the way to come back here! I went on a Friday night and the place was packed, but it still only took 5 minute to get seated. The restaurant is like a classic dinner, glass ice cream cups and frosted mugs and all! Yes you herd me right, the frosted mug is for the 1919 root beer! Yum! Just get it..Indoor and outdoor seating. Restaurant was clean. I don't know how you could experience everything this restaurant has to offer with one visit! They bring the ice cream out to you first, generous portions. They had so many different flavors! If you eat at this restaurant and say to yourself, it's ok, we have desert at home....your off your rocker! ..really you have fallen and can't get up. Stop cheating your self on life and get the full experience. Also, you should order a 1919 root beer. We are finally to the food ...my wife got the burger, it looked so good I had to try it, good tasting classic burger! I got the grilled cheese brisket sandwich, it was so good I forgot where I was. Kids meals were good sized portions and reasonably priced. They also serve 1919 root beer in a frosted mug! It was really kinda weird, everyone seamed happy to work there...strange. I have to go back to try something else! Thanks Tommy's for providing good food, friendly service and a family atmosphere!

This food is AMAZING the malts are so good customer service is excellent I would eat her any day definitely recommend

Shakes/malts are really good! Burgers are also pretty decent. Service is excellent! It's a great place to visit on a nice or hot day!
