Tommie’s Pizza

Excellent, New York style pizza in St. Paul at a reasonable price. What more could you want?Service can be slow when they're busy, but it's because Tommy will never rush to push your order out the door: he'll wait until it's cooked just right.There are plenty of topping options, and the house specialties are all excellent. The eat-in space is small and dive-bar-esque, but serviceable. We typically take ours to-go.

Where's the cheese?!Very disappointing for the price. I ordered two XL pizzas ($50), one cheese and one with a couple toppings. I should have ordered extra cheese because there was hardly any. We pretty much got two pizza crusts with a bit of sauce and less cheese. Seriously.The location sucks for parking making pickup challenging.

What a great place to grab a pizza to go! The pizzas here are priced very reasonably for how good they are and how fresh the ingredients seemed to be. The margherita was our favorite but the veggie pizza and cheese with sausage were great as well. They weren't greasy at all and the crust was the right balance between bready and crunchy. We ordered three pizzas to go online and were excited to show up and find them ready to go right on time. Ordering online was an easy process and they have loads of options of pizzas as well as wings, salads, desserts, and more available as add ons. They had a good variety of non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase as well. Customer service was very welcoming and friendly and the place seemed to be carry-out driven but had some cute seating in-doors that provided a street view. We enjoyed our pizzas greatly and will order again!

I heard good things about this place so I decided to give it a try. I placed my order and headed over. When I arrived it was a bit busy so I had to wait in line to pick up. As I was standing there I noticed a pizza sitting out looking like it was waiting to be boxed up. After about 5-10 mins I got to to the counter and gave my name. I see a gentleman then brush the pizza that was sitting out with a garlic butter then box it up. The woman handed it to me. Ok, I was excited about the garlic butter but disappointed that the pizza had been sitting out in the open for awhile. I got home and grabbed a slice from the box. It wasn't bad but not as good as I had hoped. The flavor was decent, but it was cold. I think it may have been much better fresh from the oven. The staff was very friendly and I'd be willing to give it another try at some point.

Sunday afternoon, we didn't feel like cooking and heating up the kitchen and decided we would get pizza and what better place then a local hometown business. We had ordered pizza fromTommies before but it seemed like there is maybe only one or two people working there and we wanted our pizza right away. We ordered through Uber eats unfortunately what we wanted was the yummy St Paul pizza but we wanted to add something to it and we weren't able to through the app so we just ordered the pizza as is. We then called the shop and a very sweet helpful gentleman (whom I'm assuming is the owner). I told him that we ordered a pizza through Uber eats but wanted to have a few customizations that that app didn't allow, he listened understood what we wanted and was very gracious to to honor our request. The pizza arrived just as we asked and it was amazingly perfect! We will definitely order and stop in and pick up a pizza more often as the price was perfect and the quality was even better.***as soon as we open the box it smelled and looks so good we devoured it before we could take a picture of it but I assure you It was one of the best pizzas we had in a while!!! One more very important thing, a lot of people that want pizza don't like certain things on it I'm referring to pork I don't mind pork but there are a few people in my household that do so the fact that this establishment has beef pepperoni is definitely something we noticed and appreciated!

A great place to shop local! Tiny interior, large flavor and even better service. Popped in on a Sunday evening to grab two slices of cheese pizza and was greeted right away. A note for those hoping to get a slice quickly - compare the process to waiting on a normal pizza because it's all made in house and warmed to perfection. I wasn't in a rush so this didn't bother me and I also saw some other reviews pointed this out too. I'll totally be returning and hope to dine in as the high top bar by the windows gives an excellent view of Selby and truly glows over the holiday months with all the twinkle lights. Thank you!

Shared a large pepperoni and sausage pizza and some chicken wings. Very good, loved the outer crust of garlic & butter. Wings were tasty and the food came out Hot. The staff were very friendly and courteous. They have a few tables for eating-in after ordering at the counter. They have a variety of pop, if they had beer I would of gave them 5

I came here because we had really limited time and just needed to grab a slice and run. Tommies serves pizza by the slice, in addition to full size pizzas and wings. I didn't have the wings but I smelled them while I was waiting and the wings smelled incredible. I'm not a wing person and I was tempted. The pizza was fine- but I didn't really get to eat it because it took too long. They don't have pizza slices at the ready, they appear to make your slice custom. You can add a few toppings but don't expect it to be a quick grab and go slice. This is a perfect place for the solo diner who dreams of ordering the perfect slice with all your fave toppings. However, it is not the spot for the hangry chick who is perpetually late, freaking out and ends up only getting 3 bites before she flies to the next thing. I'll probably try Tommies again, but not when I'm starving and in a hurry- although that's like a lightening striking.

Pizza was great - crust had the perfect bite, sauce was tangy, toppings well seasoned/distributed. Wings had an awesome char. And, this was after I picked up my order and sat in traffic 30 minutes on my way home. Even got to meet Tommie. Will be back for sure!
