Tippy Canoes Pub & Grub

After hiking in the area my part stopped in to Tippy Canoes for some food. We were promptly greeted and chose to sit outside in the patio. I ordered the Kickin Chicken sandwich with fries and it was very delicious! The lettuce, peppers, and tomatoes on it were fresh. The flavors came together well and really hit the spot! I was very pleased with the meal.The service left a bit to be desired, they weren't very quick about things and they were a bit unpleasant. However it didn't take away from the experience too much. Overall I would stop in again!

We stopped in to Tippy Canoe's on our way home from a camping trip. Our family of 6 loved that they had coloring pages for a coloring contest. We all participated :) We had great service and all of us loved our food. It was a very comfortable yet lively atmosphere. My side salad was superb- the red onions had the perfect bite, seasoned croutons and a very flavorful homemade 1000 island. Our kids begged that we stop here again next time we camp.

Generous portions. We enjoyed dry rub chicken wings, buffalo chicken wrap, wild rice soup, chicken nachos, Bloody Mary. Our waitress was great

One of my favorite cities is along the St. Croix River in Wisconsin, near the border of Minnesota, and Tippy Canoes is one of my 2 favorite places to visit when I'm in town.This is a very scenic city to visit when in the area, and Tippy's is always so much fun to spend time with friends when I do visit. I usually come in for their really yummy and seasonal cocktails, along with their Happy Hour food. They have the best burgers during HH, and the servers are always so fun to chat with. I'm lucky to have the best of friends who live in the area, so I get that "regulars" benefit, along with being an out-of-towner from CA. I've always been happy with my food choices and the staff is great at suggesting things when I'm having trouble deciding. They also have really tasty HH Chicken Strips that I'll share at the table. I've sat inside a couple times, with our table ordering off the regular menu too, and everyone was happy with their food / drinks. Sitting outside on the patio on a summer day/night or in the fall (the fall is gorgeous by the river!) is really the perfect way to dine ~ if you haven't stopped in at Tippy's, it's a great place to visit when in Osceola!

If you ever get stuck in the city of Osceola during their annual parade, try a pit stop at Tippy Canoes! Haha, we weren't planning to go here, but had a great time anyway. Food was great, the Vikings football game was on a big screen inside the bar area, and I really enjoyed the beautiful outdoor patio. The service was a bit slow, but I think they only had one waitress for the entire outdoor area. Honestly, she may have had to wait on tables inside too. But, we weren't in a hurry to get anywhere that day so we just tried to enjoy the sunshine.

Excellent food, Emily is a phenomenal server who did everything she could to make our experience the best it could despite the understaffed kitchen!

I met a group of high school friends here for lunch on a Monday (9 of us). It wasn't terribly busy at the time and they had adequate staff to cover lunch. Service was attentive and she noticed every time someone new joined our group. They were fine that we combined two tables to seat us all and had no problem with separate checks. I had the walleye sandwich which was soooo delicious! It was a 5 oz. serving with a beer / tempura type batter on a soft and delicious roll. The side of fries were fine. Others got the soup and sandwich, which were very large servings. I also had a great margarita for under $6. Other notes: lots of parking, huge patio, nice variety on the menu.

The bathroom was my first stop. The one-open stall didn't have toilet paper on either roll. I shouted to a friend who came in the restroom shortly behind me to get me some TP from the stall she was heading to. It also was empty. Someone verbally agreed to get a host.When my water was coming, I was super excited to see it was served with lemon. I expressed to the waitress, yay, lemon, and then saw the hair on my lemon. I said to her, oh, and a whisker took it off and rubbed it onto my napkin. She did nothing. I didn't drink the water. Hair is a huge turnoff. The walleye fingers were ok but had a lot of breading and pretty greasy.

Food is very yummy! Great service and allowed my friend I to catch up and occupy a table (with a good tip of course) pretty much the entire time of business!! Thank you for your great hospitality!!!

I highly recommend tippy canoe. We brought 13 people in and the waitress was excellent. Food came hot and timely. I did not have to ask for refills on beverages. We ordered across the menu and everything thing from the wings to the walleye were made perfectly. The wings on the appetizer menu were more than any I have had in size and quantity. The Bourbon sauce finished them off nicely. It was clean and a fitting decor for the area with an upside down canoe hanging from the rafters. Nice place I will stop again.
