This is an amazing little store for all your convenience needs. If you need milk, eggs, smokes to batteries and everything in-between. Mo has it all.But the best part of this hidden gem is the Del Sol Mexican deli. The food is amazing and people travel from all parts of the Twin Cities to eat there. Its amazing, authentic and will keep you coming back for more. Here's a picture of the tacos I got there today!I highly recommend you head over and say hi to Mo the owner and order some tacos or burritos - you won't be disappointed!

Off the beaten path in Midway sits one of those Deli inside a grocery store. It is close enough to work that I stop by every once in a while nowadays to pick up one of the most underrated Philly Steak Sandwiches - Kaiser bun, very thinly shaved steak, minced garlic, thinly sliced bell peppers & onions and that damn goddamn delicious cheese. Ooh Wee. The menu posted above the kitchen says they make other sandwiches as well and they seemed to have wings, chicken strips and Catfish Tilapia at bargain price. This deli has had a different menu about 3-4 times in the last year alone. Come to find out, the Deli was leased to others who were cooks but the grocery owner has now decided to keep it in the family and has his wife cooking up the delicious Philly. How do I know this? When I checked in thru Yelp, I supposedly was going to get 1 Free small Fry and it also said "All Yelp customers dining with us will receive 15%". I found out this was "maybe, put on Yelp by the previous cooks", that's what the guy behind the register said. Yelp also seems to think that '$15 for $20 deal' It still is advertising is probably good. Tip: Call to make sure they're open. The deli hours are supposedly 10-8pm. They were not open at 1:00 pm in the afternoon sometimes.

Have tried to call several times to see if they deliver from the kitchen but they don't answer the phone. Too bad too cause I could have been a valuable customer....

The storefront is deceiving. I would have never thought to stop in there if I hadn't needed to grab a soda. Boy am I glad I did - and I've been back twice in the past two weeks.The gyros are delicious. They are some of the better gyros I've had. The meat is tender and they pile on lettuce, grilled onions, tomatoes, and the Greek sauce. The "small" gyro is heaping. They also have a large gyro that has extra meat. I've never gotten the large because the small is already enough to fill me up.The fries are freshly cooked and some of the best that I've had. All of the dishes are made fresh right in front of you. This means having to spend some time browsing the corner store while it cooks but the wait is worth it. The price is reasonable. A gyro, fries, and a drink go for $5.99. The gyro alone is $3.99. They also have burgers, philly cheesesteaks, and other sandwhiches but I've only had the gyro. There is no where to sit so it's always take-out. I would definitely recommend this place and plan to go back again.

Just happened to be driving by in that neighborhood and was hungry so I thought I'd stop in to the deli. Very friendly owners and great gyros! While you waiting for the gyro I found browsing through the store to be worthwhile.Several small tables to sit at outside the store.I will definitely stop in again.

I've frequented the Thomas Deli for a few years now, but usually for something quick to eat. I'll admit to being a picky eater, but that's because I was raised eating amazing food and expect the same quality when I eat out. I'll try a few places out once, but likely never return. I've returned to the Thomas Deli because they give me a reason to come back. Quality food done right, at a modest price, with amazing customer service. So try them out, and you, too, will have a reason to return.
