Thirsty Badger

I heard about this establishment all the way in Minnesota and I wanted to go out for a little ride on the motorcycle. The bar and grill was a good hour and a half away with traffic. So when we rode up I love the fact that they were motorcycle friendly, they have a spot for only Motorcycles to park. Also there was plenty of parking for vehicles, they even had parking in back of the bar and grill. When we came in we were greeted by a gal named Sierra, she was very kind, helpful, and patient with us. Seeing as though it was our first time we had to look over the menu thoroughly to make sure we were certain on what we wanted to eat. We ended up getting the chips and buffalo chicken dip for an appetizer. Sierra put in our order and the app came out fairly quick. It was very delicious, I like how it had a nice zip to it but not to over the top where you would need to find water to cool off. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap, and my other half ordered the quesadilla tender melt. The cook was very friendly, and we gave him our feedback on the dip we had, how great it was. When our food arrived it looked delicious, and we couldn't wait to give it a try. The food was really good, everything was seasoned just right. We were also greeted by Tiffany, checking to see how we were doing. I really like feeling special, the locals seemed like good people, everyone at the bar and grill were friendly, kind, and helpful. We will definitely have to return to this establishment, I wish all restaurants could take some notes from Sierra and Tiffany's book on how a customer should feel when they go to an establishment. It's the little things, and this place has it figured out. Thank you for making my visit wonderful, I'll see you all next time. Almost forgot I loved the decor, the signs, and everything it looked really nice inside and out.

Old fashioneds are excellent. Nachos are excellent. Pizza is fabulous. Great little hole in the wall.

Great bar with a large outside bar and seating area. We were vacationing in the area and stopped in for a late lunch at the bar. The bartender handed us menus and said they had a two for one burger special that day. So, of course, that's what we ordered. They were some of the best burger we've had. And the tots! They were letter shaped, not boring round ones. So fun. Good drinks, great food and we returned a couple days later. We shared the honey bbq meatballs ( you'll be glad you ordered them) and the deluxe flatbread pizza. Both were delicious, as were the leftovers the next day.

Great little Sports Bar! The food was good, service was excellent and I liked the ambiance!I had a cheese burger with fries, which was tasty!

Stopped in for lunch while on vacation from Iowa. HUGE outdoor bar area that looks fun at night. Bar/restaurant area is clean. Quite a few people for midweek. I had the Cuban which was delicious and very generous. Wife had the turkey sandwich and was equally pleased. Service by the bartender was great. This place seems out of the way but well worth it. Yum!

This place is just your hometown bar but with spotted cow on top. Loved the locals- friendly talkative and didn't mind an out of towner. Beer was cold and refreshing. Ordered the Wisconsin grilled cheese- which was interesting. No freaken clue how they came with the concept but 3 cheeses and pulled pork and pepperoni on a grilled cheese?!? Freaken wild. All n all- come here. If you don't you're missing out.

First time in Eau Claire Wisconsin. Quick stop for lunch it was decent and staff was friendly. Like the decor and the woo badger.

Grrrrrrreat!!!!, Amazzzzzing!!!! and yummmmmy!!!Those are just a few adjectives I would use to describe this hidden gem in Chippewa Falls. I attended a hockey tournament there this weekend (10/14/23) and ended up dining with a youth team at Thirsty Badger. I estimated 20 families dined in at an average of three to a family so it essentially packed the place. Like most establishments they were light on staff but who could tell. These waitresses were hustling to feed these hungry hockey players and their parents. Amazing menu and beer selection! I heard nothing but praise from the players and parents directed at the staff for there fantastic performance! I ordered a side salad, which was amazing! I also ordered a chicken caesar wrap, which was equally delicious! Oh yea...how could I forget the cheesy gooey Mac n cheese...yummmmy!!!If you ever find yourself in Chippewa Falls, this place is a must visit. Great staff, Great service, Great food!

Just in town for a few days and this place was recommended by the hotel. Food and service were awesome plenty of space and tv's in view

Good curds and Mac and cheese. Good atmosphere with a nice little outdoor area with an auxiliary bar.
