The Winds Steakhouse

I just wanted to say this is the best we can find north of the cities. the atmosphere is is really romantic with candles and light up menus. definitely a birthday treat! The only place we can find a good porterhouse and king crab legs. yes it can be more expensive and yes you will need patience if you can get a table. totally worth the experience.

This is the 2nd time I've had dinner here. Last time was last summer. The prices have gone up a little. I had the shrimp scampi. Shrimp were a little over cooked, rubbery, did not come over pasta like traditional scampi. Came with a scalloped potatoes, that were cold and formed into a ball. Also came with Brussels sprouts that had absolutely no taste. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars and not 1 is because the waitress was very nice and the bread and salad was good. Idk if I will eat here again.

I had reservations for 2 which ended up only myself. I was seated in a nice booth and was able to order and receive a drink. Lynn was my waitress and gave me time to make a decision. Requested a wine list but when I was going to order found out they were not serving flights. I did not order my usual asparagus appetizer started with French onion soup which with the bread basket was excellent. My main dish was the Seafood Pasta with beurre blanc sauce which was fabulous they offer fresh ground pepper for everything I asked for some Parmesan which just added to the flavor. I had a very enjoyable meal.

Great ambience, food and service! We always receive the best care when we eat here! Date night place for sure.

This place is beautiful, the food is always fantastic, and the service and top notch. I highly recommend the duck stuffed mushrooms and all the steaks. This is the best place to go for a fabulous meal and dinning experience.

What an excellent meal! Service was fast and friendly and the prices were reasonable. This is a steakhouse but I got Chicken Marsala and it was better than I have had at any Italian restaurant. My friend had the walleye and it was great. Sides were excellent, bread was fresh baked and one of the better salads I have had. Nice atmosphere. Elegant and cozy dining area. I will definitely go back!

A very nice layout that is both cozy and relaxing. The host(s) greet you right away and take you to your table or booth. Within minutes our server Colleen was attending to us. We definitely recommend the steaks! Very classy place that is not snobby. (Oh, and the menus are WAY cool!)

Food, service and ambiance were all anazing... once again!!The drinks were amazing too!This visit we had the Ribeye and shrimp Mornay and the Sicilian chicken linguini...SO GOOD!We'll be back!
