The Tavern Grill

Server: Jessica5/5 stars for my waitress service she made sure my drink was full when it got close to the bottom. I was sat by the host next to the tv so it was great being able to watch the Kansas City chiefs play against the Buffalo Bills. Dinner: steak with sweet potatoe, Brussel sprouts & bacon, with teriyaki sauce, and honey mustard. (I forgot the name of the sauces but the honey mustard paired very well with the steak. I also had it with the clam chowder which was a bit salty for my taste. Ambiance is 5/5... very relax and got to seat next to the bar.

To be honest, overall mediocre. Food was hit or miss, the fries and drinks were great. However, the salmon was not hot and had a weird taste. The food was overpriced for the quality. Service was ok, our server couldn't answer some seemingly basic questions about the menu and our waters sat empty most of the meal and only got refilled once.I don't really understand the hype, but apparently some people do, we waited quite a long time even after putting our name on the list online an hour in advance. The restaurant had kind of a weird layout and felt crowded, but empty at the same time. The Christmas decor was a nice touch.

We had a staff Christmas party of over 60 people. The Tavern Grill's crew gave us the utmost exceptional service at the bar area where they served up our drinks and for table service. They made mental notes of everyone's drinks and went around and gave everyone fresh drinks without being asked, they just stayed on top of it. Much appreciated!The room was big and spacious and private, and beautifully decorated for Christmas with shiplap. The filet mignon was 10 for 10, done to perfection. And I never touch mushrooms, I never touch em. But I don't know what they did to the mushrooms on my plate, but I devoured every single one! That's good cookin' that's good eatin'. Tavern Grill, thank you for giving us a great experience last night, everyone enjoyed themselves to the fullest because you went above and beyond to make us welcome and serve us. Muchas gracias y feliz navidad!!

Later stop after a high school basketball game had us hungry but wanting to keep it light. We each ordered a cup of chicken wild rice soup. So good. The perfect winter comfort food. We followed that will splitting a build your own salad. The salads are huge so splitting it kept it to a reasonable portion for a late dinner. I appreciate restaurants that allow you to split meals without adding extra fees. Everything was awesome. Perfect late night dinner. Parking easy. Service good. We even caught the TWolves game as we dined.

Love their food! I got the sliders,And cheese curds, and loved both :). WillDefinitely be back!

If you are looking for a nice dinner out, don't mind some noise, and love a menu with a wide-range of food choices and Build-Your-Own options, then The Tavern Grill is a good choice. The restaurant itself is very nice with a nice interior, plenty of parking, and multiple levels with booths, tables with nice windows, and a large bar area. The service at our last visit started out a bit rough (no smile, very abrupt, and no eye contact) but got better after a bit. Servers have a tough job and who knows what was going on but after a while she was more friendly and attentive. Kudos to the team and the manager too who were great about running food, taking dirty dishes and filling water. As far as the food I've been here about 4 times and it's been a bit hit-or-miss. I gave this 4 stars because I love their menu, their choices, and the Build-Your-Own for salads, burgers, pizza and Bloody Marys! When it's good it's very good! However my last experience wasn't the best. I ordered the Teriyaki Salmon with Jasmine rice. The presentation was great and the flavor was great too, but the salmon was WAY overcooked. It was crunchy almost to the middle of the fish. I also ordered a side Caesar salad which had pretty poor quality lettuce, but the big pieces of parmesan and REALLY good dressing made it better. Again...could have hit it out of the park with the flavor on both, but some quality and preparation issues. My husband had a bowl of their soup of the day (very good Southwestern Tortilla soup) and a side salad (lettuce was also not great). Will we go there again...yes. Because of the menu and because it's so tasty when it's a good day.

Ordered 2 aperol spritz I have ordered the same drink at other bars ans never charged 2 separate charges for one drinkOne charge for the Prosecco and 1 charge for Aperol Very expensive drinkThere was a group of us and the meatloaf was hard as a rock Service was poor. We waited for the check so finally one of us went to the bar and asked for our bill

The waitress, middle aged black lady charged for seasoned sour cream even though the build your own burger comes with it free of charge. Besides that the service was sub par, rarely got our waters refilled and was rather rude/snappy. Food quality has gone downhill over the years, sad as it was a staple for my family in the past.

Very expensive but I have a husband for that reason. The chicken buffalo wrap was a little bland. But what do you expect from a majority white establishment. The gyro wrap was...just a wrap. Go to a greek restaurant if you want good gyro. Alfredo also had no taste. Fries were just like chikfila. I do not really remember the staff so I think that's a good sign. The room was dimly lit which was great for my husband and I's little date night.

My wife and I used to come here every Friday night. The food and drinks were always affordable and it was just a nice casual atmosphere to eat in every week. We recently moved out of town but decided to make the drive for another Friday night dinner. The place is now "upscale" with fancy menus and the food has become much more expensive and quite frankly, less tasteful than it was months ago. I feel like they have really moved away from their identity and it's sad.
