The Purple Goose

Tried breakfast, finally. The service is always good and pretty prompt at the PG. I'll say the omelette was hearty, but not quite what I was expecting. I'm pretty sure they used Italian sausage in it, so that was different and all the cheese seemed to be on top and none in the omelette. The toast was subpar, but the hash browns were good. I'd go back because I'd like to try other breakfast items.

Little bit of everything and you never go home hungry, I love the friendly wait staff and Sam is my new best friend. Thanks purple goose.

Food is usually good never had any major issues before but today I had overcooked fries and a bacon cheeseburger with a single crumpled piece of bacon.

Gets the job done. I've never been super impressed and never been ultra disappointed. Just kind of a 'meh' for me. Only thing I might order again would be the flatbread. Otherwise their food has been pretty greasy and too salty for me.

I heard Rich O'Toole played here! Amazing! I tried the hamburger and it was good. But when I found out Rich O'Toole played here I ordered everything on the menu.

We went in on mothers day and we did not know if we were supposed to seat our selves or wait for a waitress. We tried asking a waitress and we were blown off. We started to sit and we were told by customers that the table was reserved. We waited for about a couple of minutes and then decided it was too small to handle the business it had. I can understand the confusion but it made us feel out of place. We were in there at 3 pm so we thought we avoided the rush.

Support your local restaurant. The prices are fair and so is the service when you consider the location. I ordered a cheese burger and fries. I appreciated that the burger wasn't from a frozen slab of meat like chain restaurants.

Ridiculous, I walk I and sit down and nearly everyone is drunk and the back dining area is just completely black. I sit down for about 10 minutes and didn't get offered a menu and wasn't noticed by a single soul.

Thank goodness new owner and a passion for quality food at a good price friendly helpful staff. I am so happy to have a place for great food in a rural area and close to Kato on the way. It has been a few years since food was at the quality it is now!
