We come here fairly regularly & it's always delicious! Even if there's a wait, it's never too long, since there's plenty of seating. The restaurant itself has a diner feel with comfortable seating. Today I got the Migas!, which is fresh & delicious (I could eat the corn pancakes with any & everything). I also tried the special mimosa, which was a Christmas drink with champagne, sparkling apple juice, cranberries, & rosemary garnish. Everything was really tasty & you get the perfect size servings.

If you want a classic diner breakfast in the Twin Cities, this is the place to go and it's not even close. Nothing I've tried on the menu has been anything short of fantastic, but their Cajun Breakfast special is the must-get here. Hashbrowns decked with eggs, cheese, Cajun seasoning and sausage, what's not to love? The standout food is paired with fast, friendly service, and a cozy environment that makes you want to be a regular. As you sign the check on your way out, you'll find that one of the best breakfasts in the cities also happens to somehow be among the most reasonably priced. There are a special few places where the stars of quality, service, and value align, and The Neighborhood Cafe is certainly among them.

Always a solid breakfast/lunch with good service! Love the food here. Great options with fair prices. I always order the Cornbread Pancakes, save some room for them! Another favorite of mine is the Carnitas Breakfast Burrito. I love this burrito! It is big! The carnitas is always good, never dry, and full of flavor. My next go to is the Pot Roast Benedict. Again, the pot roast is perfectly cooked, moist, and delicious. Love this twist on an Eggs Benedict dish. I have one thing that I stay away from when I go here....the coffee. I hate to be critical of a place that I love but the coffee is awful. Luckily there is a coffee shop two doors down. Don't let that sway you. Get yourself a mimosa instead. They always have a fun twist on a mimosa.

Neighborhood Cafe is a popular local breakfast spot, so be sure to get there early if you are looking to get seated right away! The menu has lots of classic brunch options, as well as some more unique offerings like migas and a Cajun breakfast. My favorite thing is ordering a side of hollandaise to go with my breakfast combo - it tastes awesome on eggs and hashbrowns. Servers can get busy during the brunch rush, but they make sure to check in and keep your coffee full. This is a spot with lots of regulars and a great, diner-esque feel.

Came here for a quick breakfast and shared the cajun breakfast. It was gigantic and such a good deal! It was crispy hash browns with sautéed peppers and mushrooms with a hollandaise sauce on top. The dish was very rich but the side of sourdough we got was a really good vessel to eat everything on. The dish was flavored decently and was just very home-y. Overall good diner food for a quick breakfast.

Met up with a friend for breakfast on a Sunday morning and while I thought it might be packed, around 10 we had no issues getting a spot. This really is a neighborhood cafe lol the one with the worn booths and friendly servers. If you're looking for fancy, keep looking. If you're looking for delicious food, you're in the right spot!I did a BYO omelet with sausage, onion and smoked Gouda. I went with hash -browns (added cheese) and sourdough toast. Of course I topped it off with a couple mimosas as well. The food was good, I felt like the Gouda was a little over powering but I ate almost all of it. I would probably switch out the cheese. Everything else was tasty and well priced. They didn't mind us drinking and occupying our booth for almost two hours which was a plus. I had a great time here and I'll be returning if I'm in the area again.

Exceptionally well executed entrees at reasonable prices. Local favorite restaurant that is always busy, friendly and full of banter. Order whatever is one of the specials - they're the best!

Great food- love that they serve breakfast all hours. Had an omelet that came with 3 ingredient choices - often you only get two and they had a decent quantity of each item. Served with toast and hashbrowns- I got fruit instead of the hashbrowns. All the food I saw coming out of the kitchen looked fantastic. Smaller place but was able to get seated on a Saturday at noon within 20 minutes. Super friendly staff. Cute place - love neighborhood spots! Can't wait to try other items. Parking is challenging.

Excellent service. Amazing hasbrowns, crispy as requested but still very potato-y. Bacon and scrambled eggs cook perfectly. Pancakes weren't for me, but they were cooked well.

I'd love to review the food, but we didn't get any. We were quoted a 20 minute wait, which was really double that. When we were seated it was at a table that was empty the whole time. The booth n3xt to us was seated right after us and their order was taken immediately. After watching the waitress take orders from two other tables seated after us, andcstill not even having coffee or our order taken, we left. Almost an hour and 15 minutes after our arrival we were hungry and went someplace else. Probably won't try again.
