This is the house special low mein, which was unlike any low mein I've ever had. Fabulous! House Lo Mein

Had been meaning to try Lotus for a long time and finally did. Ample seating and quick and friendly service. We ordered a Lo Mein and Stir Fried Rice noodles. Went with medium heat, but ended up asking for chili oil to add more heat to both dishes. Asides from the heat level, everything was very tasty. The happiest surprise of the meal were the Banana Wontons. Could've had 10 of them!Great option for Asian food in MG!

Best eggrolls in the Twin Cities! Maple Grove has plenty of parking and the restaurant is large. The prices are not great, especially compared to the Minneapolis location. Example: Minneapolis location has a lunch special for 12.50 that includes entree appetizer and a side like fried rice. Very affordable, right? At the Maple Grove location. The same lunch menu special was 17.99. You tell me which one you would choose! The only con of the Minneapolis location is that the parking is terrible! Very small lot. Anyway, I would go and get takeout from the Minneapolis location next time and save myself a ton of cash :)

This is more on the delivery side. I have eaten here several times at the site. It's average for the most part. Are there worse places? Probably. Are there better places? Absolutely. It depends on your location and expectations for your meal.I have ordered take-out and delivery from here several times, and it always seems that something is amiss with the order. Tonight's order was a bit more egregious and, hence, prompted a less-than-wonderful review. Our order was not complicated. Kung Pao, Spring Rolls, Pork Fried Rice, and Lotus Wings. First, we didn't receive the fried rice, the Lotus wings were Oyster wings, Kung Pao was ordered with chicken fried rice...received white rice.As I consider the history of my patronage at this establishment, it is not worth the potential aggravation/frustration anymore. Going forward, I will order from a certain Vietnamese restaurant in BC or Hong Kong.So my advice is - order at your own risk. I am personally done here.

I've had my eye on this place for years and finally stopped in. The flavors packed a punch and the dishes were plentiful with noodles, sauces, and vegetables. We requested chili oil and thought that elevated the dishes further (coming from people who love spice and use chili oil regularly). We finished the meal with banana wontons. They were messy but delectable. They cleansed our palates and reduced our self-induced spice.

Stopped by for lunch since the reviews were good. We waited probably 10 minutes to be seated during the rush. It has a pretty decent size dining area. We ordered the walnut shrimp, lotus wings, and I ordered the lunch pho with beef, egg rolls and chicken fried rice. Overall it was a good lunch. The egg rolls were our favorite with the wings falling second. Everything else didn't wow us but was solid.

I recently visited The Lotus Maple Grove and had a mediocre experience. The food was unfortunately dry and lacking in flavor - the Kung Pao Entree, which I was looking forward to, didn't quite hit the mark. The mock duck was overcooked and the vegetables were bland. A bit too pricey for what were served. The service was okay, nothing exceptional but not bad either. Our server was friendly but seemed a bit distracted. The ambience was modern and sleek, but it felt like something was missing. The music wasn't the best and the decor could have used a bit more warmth.Overall, I was underwhelmed by my experience at The Lotus Maple Grove. While there were some redeeming qualities, the food and ambience could have been better. Maybe next time they'll hit the mark!Recommended for: Those looking for a modern space, but maybe not for the food alone.

I had the chance to check out Lotus in Maple Grove! Upon arriving, I was seated in a timely manner. There's a decent-sized parking lot here, which is nice, and plenty of seating available. Unfortunately, our waitress seemed pretty stressed and didn't bring much energy to our table. Since I frequent the Loring Park location, I knew I'd be getting the Lotus wings, which didn't disappoint--they're good every time! I also tried the broccoli dish with chicken, but it wasn't my favorite, even though it tasted decent. All in all, I probably wouldn't go out of my way to return to this location. The Loring Park spot just has a welcoming vibe that this location is missing.

My sick son was asking for pho and Lotus it was. He ordered a boba milk tea and he really enjoyed it. The tapioca boba was warm and sweet. We both got the house pho which was very flavorful. The broth was intense with beef goodness. Service was a little sporadic. Parking was abundant.
