Average food mostly. Service is always fine. A bit overpriced for basic food and they put the gratuity on the bill already which is not the Wisco way. Outside atmosphere is really nice in the summer. Eaten here a couple times, and I'm guessing it won't be the last. Nice to just stop and have a couple drinks in the outside area in the summer. I'll go 3.5 stars.

The Livery was good enough to eat at twice in the same week, and I'm not ashamed to admit I had the fish and chips both times. Service was excellent and the drinks were solid pours.

Driving from St. Paul to Milwaukee and stopped here for dinner. The beer list was decent, but since I was driving I limited myself to a single Spotted Cow. Cool space, appreciated the reuse of the building. Very friendly server, and good enough food, however, the time between ordering and getting the food felt like an eternity. It would not have been a big deal if we were not working out way further east, and it pushed our arrival time in Milwaukee back 30 minutes at least. This would easily have been a four star situation otherwise. If I was in the area I'd give it another go.

Excellent attentive service by Ingrid. Enjoyed happy hour beer, cocktails and Pinot noir wine. Also had tasty entrees-top notch salmon with flavorful grain medley, pulled pork sandwich with fries and chicken tinga tacos which were on special. Seasonings were on point and portions were large (hello lunch the next day!). Cool setting, a bit loud.

Really cool building and very good food. Patio space is nice as well. Beer prices are excellent and the small tap list has a lot of variety. Don't skip the sweet potato tots, some of the best I can remember. Upstairs game room is a very cool space too. Highly recommended if you like historic buildings and good food!

Literally my favorite restaurant in Eau Claire. Always consistently a great experience and great food.My entire party ordered gluten free buns. Two sandwiches came out on gluten feee hamburger buns and mine came out on a hoagie bun. I asked the server twice if it was gluten free, she assured us it was. I broke off a piece and tried it and could tell it was likely wheat. We asked another server and she said it was definitely a wheat hoagie bun with gluten as they only had gluten free hamburger buns. She sent it back and it came back on a gluten free bun in record time, within minutes. The sandwich was the regular quality, fairly good. I finished half, got a box, started putting my fries in the box -- and out of the fries tumbles the piece of the wheat hoagie bun that broke off. I've never been more disappointed in a restaurant that means so much to me. The apology was flippant and halfhearted and, not that I was expecting or asked for it, the check had no adjustments. I have celiacs disease. My reaction to gluten isn't small. Every time I eat out is a calculated risk and I accept there may be cross contamination, but to be served a wheat bun, confidently lied to twice about it without an offer to check to make sure, and then to be re-served the same food with simply a different bun, is unconscionable. I came from three hours away, I have a weekend full of work to do in the area, and now I have to worry about how the gluten is going to affect me.

Great food and atmosphere. Did not appreciate the 18% living wage surcharge. The owner should add the "living wage" fee into his food costs. I would have typically tipped 20%, but didn't feel the need to do so since the owner added this line item. I will not be back.

Wow we will never patronize this establishment again. They automatically add on an 18 percent living wage fee because mgt is too cheap to pay employees properly. This fee is not a tip either!!!

Went to this restaurant on a friday night. The food was a 6 out of 10. The bartender was not very friendly. If the place was busy I could understand, but it was very slow. The worst part is the 18% living wage fee they automatically apply to your bill. Will never go back.
