The Landing On Madison

Great food, waitress very reliable,., wanted to make sure everything was good... the ambiance was fun!! A gorgeous summer morning... boats were in and out of the lake!! Met 3 friends there... and were able to talk and was most enjoyable!!

Wish I could give a review on the food. Was seated on the patio. Waitresses all talking to each other. Talking to other customers after they paid and were obviously people they knew. 15 minutes after being seated. No offer of drink ect. Left STARVING!!!!!

Over priced! Just because you are by a lake? Almost $20 for two bar pour drinks? Ridiculous.

A fun, small-town restaurant with good food and even better company! Live music on Fridays and Sundays- great to hang out in the water on the boat or listening on the outdoor patio!

Loved the patio dining area! Brought my dog and grandma for lunch. They were very friendly and accommodating! The waitress even brought a bowl of water for my dog! We ordered the chicken margarita sandwich and a hamburger; both orders were delicious!

Sat down a few minutes before 11, ordered food about 11:15, eventually left about 12:45. Tables came and went, finished their drinks and food, before we found out they hadn't even started our food.The server, the few times she checked in with us, kept telling us the food would be out any minute........then just disappeared and we had to track down the manager.Fruatrating experience!!!

No complaints about the ambience. Only great things to say about our server...communicative, friendly, prompt. My disappointment was entirely with the food. I ordered the Mediterranean Bowl. Description: mix of white rice and quinoa, with chicken, roasted red peppers, olives, feta cheese and tzaziki sauce. What came: a coagulated lump of plain, sticky white rice (no quinoa), chicken and sauce. Zero roasted peppers or olives. I didn't complain at the time because our server was a sweetie and I was starving. I ate it, but I could've gotten a Kwik Trip bowl for $5 better than this. I should add it did also come with cucumbers, which were few and sliced as opposed to the description of diced on the menu.

Beautiful weather, slow service, ok food. $16.00 for a simple patty melt with chips, I think $16.00 for 10 popcorn shrimp with chips. We won't be going back. Thankfully it was a beautiful night to be outside. That was the best part of the evening at The Landing on Madison Lake... sitting outside.

On Madison Lake which is beautiful! A great time and great food! Service was so nice! Definitely will be back!
