Love The Howe-even though our bartender Sam is a Packet fan. Everyone has their flaws. Pro Tip--order the Dragon Mary in a short glass. Much better vodka to mix ratio.

I was surprised by how much seating they had here--their patio is enclosed and heated in the winter. We walked in on a Friday night and only had to wait about five minutes to be seated, and our server Andrew was great and super attentive!I think I definitely preferred the American food here--I got the kimchi pancakes ($9) as a starter and the half broasted chicken ($17) as my entree, and I thought the chicken was delicious--juicy, crispy, and well-seasoned, exactly as advertised!--though I felt it could've been spicier (I ordered hot rather than original). The coleslaw was listed as "sweet chili coleslaw", but it just tasted like regular old coleslaw to me. The portion of food was an INSANE value for $17--this could easily feed 2, and I say that as someone with a pretty decent appetite. As a Korean person, I was bound to be more critical of the kimchi pancakes, and I definitely felt like they could've been heavier on the kimchi/spice. As its own thing, I'd say they were definitely good, but I wouldn't say they're what would come to mind if I was specifically looking for kimchijeon. We got the street corn dip ($12) to share, which was good but pretty standard, and my friends got the ahi poke bowl ($18) and Hot Chic sandwich ($16). I was told the ahi bowl was well-seasoned with a good tuna portion, but the Hot Chic was subpar--the bun was a bit dry and the chicken was also not spicy enough. The chips that came with the sandwich were also not super flavorful--definitely light on the seasoning/salt than is our preference.I think they have a really diverse menu and try to do it all, which can result in some of the less standard things not being as good as they might be at a specialty restaurant, which is a pitfall a lot of American places find hard to avoid nowadays. However, the service was friendly and fast, and it had a super welcoming and casual atmosphere, so I'd totally come back for the broasted chicken again, but would probably stick to that over trying anything else.

First time at the Howe! It's not too far from me and once I heard it was dog friendly (especially in the winter) we needed to try! It was not super busy when we went on NYE at 7. Ambiance: 9/10 They had a festive Pawtio with Christmas lights and decor. It was heated for people who sat out there with their dogs. (Us)Service: 8/10 Can't complain. Not memorable but no mistakes and they were attentive. Food: Ok. Buffalo Cauliflower: good- again no complaints but didn't wow me. Chicken sandwich: mid. Fries & tots: zero/no flavor :(I think when restaurants do large, festive, over the top decor, they end up skimping on other areas - especially food quality. I've had this experience before at other places. I'll come back to The Howe another time to see how they are not in the holiday season!

We ordered for pick up and ate at home from this place. My sister in law wanted to customize their brisket mac and cheese and take out the brisket. My nephew wanted their chicken wings. I got the Phuket bowl with tofu and my brother got the ahi poke bowl. MyPhuket bowl was really flavorful, the chicken wings were also good and I ate the cauliflower from my brother's plate. I think my brother said it was busy while he was trying to order in person and the bartender helped him. We couldn't customize the mac and cheese online.

Fun place with fun service! The first time I came to The Howe was because they were open on a holiday when most places were closed, and it was great to have someplace where my friends and I could hang out after ditching our families! The atmosphere is very neighborhood-bar-and-grill, super comfortable. I will for sure come back here many times, although I wish I'd found a dish that I loved a bit more. We've liked everything we've had just fine, although the homemade potato chips I got on this last visit were very lacking in seasoning. Totally pleasant place to hang out and eat casually.

Best cocktail ever- Horchata borracha. It's one of their summer signature drinks. Hope it makes it to the regular list. The sparkling sugar rum perfectly accompanied the creamy but light horchata elixir. So refreshingly tasteful! The was accompanied by a very filling vegan "cheesesteak" made with Korean bbq from herbivorous butcher. I'm not vegan, but don't eat beef so I've never had a Philly cheesesteak! So glad I had a chance to. Love that they're dog friendly too!

Came in to eat on Christmas Day, so first of all thanks for being open. Food was incredible. The lavender lemonade was really yummy and so were the cheese curds. They're served with pepper jelly which was new but definitely delicious. I ordered the cranberry chicken sandwich which I think is seasonal, but if you do get it I recommend it with the pepper jelly! It was super good. Our waitress was very nice and service was relatively quick for how busy it was. Also the Christmas decor is off the charts, like they made the air vent a candy cane.

They were formally known as *The Rail Station*. That place was amazing. Food was awesome. People were genuine, it basically felt like you were in Cheers. However The Howe- The food here is disgusting. They are clearly trying way too hard to be a hipster modern gourmet kitchen. They put their own little disgusting twist on everything. They have tuna Tare Tare and pouched eggs for your dog I am so unimpressed with this place. It breaks my heart I watched them slowly by slowly cut each employee from the original Rail Station crew. I came across a review that really touched me on their FB page, however hours later was gone... I hope people take into consideration what kind of place this is.
