This is our go to coffee shop in Cokato. We are from California and visit family every year. We have come to the Grounds since they opened and every year they get better. Great coffee drinks and the food is good. We typically get breakfast sandwiches to go but I also had thier pastie lunch with a salad. I like my first pastie and appreciate the fresh mixed greens - I would get it again. If you need an easy stop with great long hours this is a great stop!

Nice setting as this coffee shop is a part of the golf course clubhouse. Comfortable seating inside as well as outdoor seating. Coffees are good as are the food options. The service is friendly and typically pretty timely.

The best coffee in town! They are slower. But it's honestly worth the wait and they are great people some of them are just the salt of the earth. Use the time to relax in the club house looking out over the beautiful course. Get THE ALBATROSS!!!! Get the large!! We will always come back for the albatross when we come back to Cokato. It's a great place to meet up with friends and just hang out.

Good decor, Good food for a golf course. The Thai chicken wrap is my favorite. If you need lunch in Cokato then come here and you won't be disappointed. The workers are a little bit slow but super nice just expect to spend a little time there. The golf course is fun to play on.

The only coffee I will order here for consistency if a frappe or just plain black coffee. A few times when I have ordered a frappe with an extra espresso shot it tasted extremely watered down, like they used brewed coffee rather than espresso. The baristas should be better trained on the drinks so you are not getting a different drink every time depending on who makes it. The food is good, but the prices keep rising making it not as affordable for a quick lunch bite. They do have a decent variety of food & drinks on the menu, and it is a nice shop to have in Cokato.

I've stuck by this place as I just recently moved to the area and love good coffee. What a relief there is an option! And so close to work! It's run pretty poorly but I keep an open mind because it's a small community and no ones in a hurry around here. Their espresso machines have gone broken for weeks on end, all kinds of crazy stuff. Well last straw today....they raised prices of their drinks near double which to be fair is comparable to most city coffee shops but, they left their giant menu with old prices up and mentioned something about "customers have been complaining about the price hike" like....yeah...i bet. This business is in dire need of a management/staff overhaul before you can effectively issue a price hike. I'll not be returning here which is a real shame because it is the best option for decent espresso coffee anywhere nearby.

I simply was amazed at the view from this cafe. Lots of seating to work in. I ordered a sandwhich wrap that came out just great, and followed it up with a mocha to go. Great Mochas and I hope to be back in MN again soon.

The Grounds is a cozy, fairly spacious, relaxing place. I think that there is an attached religious bookshop. No proselytizing evangelists seen. The coffee, sandwich and dessert menu is not large but there are reasonable options. Most importantly the quality is high. Overall a stark contrast to Daniel's, a half block away. They don't have a lot of parking spots but hey you are in Cokato so parking is not a hassle.I'll comment on some menu items the next time I visit a relative in Cokato.

Came in at 1PM, an hour before the coffee shop closed. Ordered a coffee, two high school ladies were working and busily cleaning up in anticipation of the shop closing. I paid $1.88 for a quarter cup of nearly cold coffee and overheard one of the girls say "we should probably make more house blend". It was never made, and at 1:55 I was told that I had to leave as they would be closing. Minor, I know, but I've had a similar experience a couple other times. Finding employees in Cokato is tough--but keeping a pot of coffee warm and full shouldn't be.
