The Chocolate Ox

Saw a sign on the highway and picked a location on our way. My hope was to pick up some sugar free chocolates. Thankfully they had some in a prepackaged box. They were so good. I wish the beautiful displays had some of those as sugar free. The place is kind of remote so it makes sense that they didn't have any. My husband enjoyed an ice cream with a strange name in a cone. It was lovely sitting outside enjoying them. Thank you!

Friendly service and delicious ice cream in a beautiful setting. Our go-to when visiting Gull Lake and the Grand View Lodge property.

The licorice chip is amazing!! As well as the others our group had. Pirates Booty. Moose Tracks. Exhausted Parent. Chocolate Peanut Butter Swirl. Peanut Butter Cookie Dough. Ask for a single split. 2 types for the price of one. Cute patio. Lots of candy. A mini version of the Chocolate Ox in Nisswa.

The most amazing ice cream flavors and very generous scoops. We always visit multiple times when we're in town visiting.

We LOVE the Chocolate Ox and cannot say enough good things about it!They have a ton of different candy options and quite a bit that are 'safe' for our son with a severe nut allergy. Their ice cream options are quite vast, but I would not recommend them for anyone with allergies as their scoops share the same water. Even grabbing a new scoop (as their solution is), the other scoops would have been between different tubs of ice cream and could easily have left traces behind.We stop here frequently to take a break from the boat and always find something new and wonderful!

This is the cutest candy/ice cream store I've been in. The ice cream was great, it was so cute and clean inside and the candy selection was fun. The staff were so kind to my girls. We'll be back!

Hands down, best ice cream, fudge and candy selections. Try the Pirates Booty-yummm! We are soooo lucky to live close to the Ox, but if you're driving up, it is worth the drive. Fun atmosphere at either location-in Nisswa or within Grandview Lodge. In Nisswa, you can stroll with your ice cream and window shop. Two of my favorite things. You gotta try the Ox!!

Love this place, came in today and just got ice cream. All the ladies working were so respectful, love it here!

This is truly a candy and ice cream wonderland. We went here at least once, if not twice, each day of our stay at Grandview Lodge. It is not to be missed!

The service is great! The food/Candy is awesome! The place looks great and is not messy!
