The Bungalow Inn

We had a reservation but when we showed up, they didn't have any record of it. It wasn't a problem as they were able to seat us but it was weird because we even called to modify the reservation and they confirmed the changes. Either way, the food was quite good but about what you'd expect for a rural restaurant/bar. Service was a bit slow but I think they were just understaffed as the service was still very friendly. Would maybe go back if I was in the area

Visited for dinner with friends! My friend was impressed by the glassware used for the water glasses.I ordered a walleye sandwich, and it was tasty and large. The group started out with spinach dip and chips which was deliciously cheesy!Our server was great. We really want to go back to try the brunch buffet next.

A fantastic little place off the highway! The supper club vibes are fantastic. The cheese curds are a must try. We just moved to the area and knows we will be back to this place many times.

Been here a few times and the experience gets worse each time. We reserved a table for four a few months back and the dining room was so cold someone brought us a space heater to stay warm.What took the cake was on May 24, we decided to stop in for a fish fry. The restaurant was not busy as it was Memorial Day weekend, nice weather, and roughly 4:30-5:00PM. We were seated but never got served. No waitress, and there were four that I saw, ever came to the table. The table directly next to us had a waitress, but she was unwilling to wait on us, or even make eye contact. We waited for 20-25 minutes before walking out. Not good when you're with company. IF YOU DON'T WANT TO SERVE PEOPLE DON'T SEAT THEM. Embarrassing and Inexcusable.

Nothing better than old school warmth and an ice-cold beer. The minute that I stepped into the Bungalow, I was hit with the past. Not my past mind you, my parents past. This place goes back a while. It's like the place is frozen in time.I almost expected to see Bogie and Bacall hidden away in some secluded booth, discussing their next pictures while sharing a cigarette. A floor show occasionally distracting their attention. That's the way the Bungalow is, or at least its vibe.My buddy John picked me up in Hudson and dragged me across the border into Minnesota. He told me that he's taking me to some bars that will run the gamut from dives to class. I'm assuming the Bungalow is the latter?It wasn't going to be a meal for us cause we were already on a nice buzz from the two previous joints, and there were more to come. So we chose a couple of seats at the bar and ordered up. Our bar tender was extremely nice and friendly during our stay. She shared her history of the place, all 18 months. LoL. The Bungalow is a nice throwback of days gone by. It's worth a visit and a meal. If you see a couple of tipsy grandpa's sitting at the bar, tell them that it's time to move along.Quick Tip: The Bungalow is spotless, clean as a whistle. Oh, you know how to whistle, don't you? Just put your lips together and blow.

Went to dinner with my elderly mother and my son a couple months ago. As we entered the restaurant each and every staff member had a smile on their face as they greeted us. They were quick to help me get my mother in by holding the doors for us.. My mother and I had the French dip and my son the boneless chicken wings. The food was delicious as usual, just way too much of it! I always look forward to leftovers for lunch the next day, that's for certain.Our server was phenomenal! A pretty little thing named Halie. Service was prompt, drinks were out quickly. Cooks had our food made in mere minutes. Waitress was pleasant and checked on us in a timely matter. When we were done, the to go boxes and our checks were ready. I don't think we had to wait for a thing. As we were leaving, the staff was right there with smiles on their faces, ready to help with the doors once again. It was a refreshing change to go to an establishment where they actually thanked YOU for coming instead of the other way around. The owners of this restaurant should be proud of the first class staff they have!I guess the only con I have is that the place is a little dark, and could use some upgrades. Albeit it was very clean.Looking forward to my next visit!

We were celebrating my husbands birthday with our family today. We decided to meet at a central location for all of us. This is a supper club restaurant. We had plenty for space for our family to sit together. The buffet , which is on Sundays, had a nice variety of breakfast foods. Everything that I took I enjoyed. The service was great as well. They kept up with restocked the buffet and everything was hot. Our grandsons enjoyed the food as well especially the cookies!! We'll be back maybe to try dinner sometime.

We met the family here for a belated birthday brunch for me. We had a nice time. The buffet was good. Not too extensive eggs, breakfast meats, potatoes, fruit, french toast and waffles. Out service was great, food was hot a continually restocked. There was plenty of room for our group of 7. There was a very large group that came in but everything was restocked if needed. It is a supper club vibe we will be back maybe for dinner some time. It is a half way point to meet our family at. Thank you

We have been here several times and always receive great service and the food is yummy and tasty. It's affordable and the ambiance is very supper club / fine dining / yet cozy and casual. It's lovely. Also at 9pm on Fridays they move the tables and have karaoke :) I really like this place !! Good times! Awesome service ! Great food !!

Why do we even go back? The dark haired woman who works at the bar is not welcoming at all. She acts like she's not happy you're there and when you thank her for anything, she just walks away in silence. We've given this place several tries and this woman has made it unpleasant. If it weren't for her, the experience would have been way better, because the food was pretty good. Awful bartender!
