Small mom and pop restaurant with good chicken at an affordable price. What's not to like.

What a find! Thank you IExit! Clean, friendly, fast, efficient, inexpensive and EXCELLENT. Best chicken I have had in a long time. Four piece meal for under $10! You know when you go and there is no grease taste. When the skin is light and crisp. When the coleslaw is creamy, the potato's are perfect and the roll fresh???? A bonanza!We were asked multiply times how things were and offered fresh water twice. I love it. Sorry , no food photos. Too hungry. No leftovers...

What's not to love about broasted chicken? If you've never had it, find some and try it!! (broasting is basically pressure cooking, in oil) I grew up on the chicken from the Brass Rail in Grandy, MN, and while I still prefer that to all others, The Broaster is right up there. Back in MN visiting family in Faribault, it was a must have at least one time. Unfortunately their Yelp presence is minimal, so girlfriend just suggested getting an eight-piece family meal. I drove to the restaurant; there was only one other car in the drive-thru so I placed my order and pulled around. We got all dark, with slaw and tots. The order was ready in just a couple minutes. $31.99 seemed a little high, but I guess it's just more Bidenomics in action.The chicken was tender, juicy, and flavorful. Tots were crispy and lightly seasoned. Slaw also had good flavor, and just the right amount of liquid. Window service could have been a little friendlier, and availability of a take home menu would have been appreciated. Otherwise, great all around.

I had the special for lunch today and it hit the spot. The chicken/ Shrimp special was served in a very timely manor, in a very clean eating area, and the staff was very friendly and very polite! Did I mention that the food tasted greatTheir Covid19 procedures are great! I feel very safe getting food from this place!

I live only about 12 miles from The Broaster and I can't believe I'd never stopped here before. I've always heard good things about it, but it's even a little better than I expected.You order from the counter and then they bring it to your table. The options are burgers, fish, and shrimp, but I'm sure it's the chicken that has built their reputation. I ordered the cod dinner but I couldn't leave without trying the chicken, so I got a drumstick and thigh too. The dinners come with cole slaw, a roll and a potato choice, The cod was fine, with white flakey meat and thin batter. I wish it had a little more flavor. The crinkle-cut fries were good, but I regretted not trying the mashed potatoes and gravy. My two pieces of chicken were excellent.The batter had a nice flavor and just the right amount of crunch, it didn't explode like you were biting into a pinecone.The prices are good. Service was very friendly, and the interior was clean and bright, with lots of big windows. I'll be adding this to my list of frequent lunch destinations.

Driving through Faribault, we found The Broaster on Yelp. Our GPS didn't do well finding the place. There's also no sign. When we finally found it, we weren't sure it was open. Luckily it was. It's a counter service restaurant. You order and pay and they bring the food to your table. My husband and I ordered the 4 piece chicken dinner to share. It was great broaster chicken. Some pieces were a little hotter than others, but it was all crisp and well seasoned. The chicken itself was tender and juicy. It came with a standard roll with "spread". I'm a butter girl. Nothing to write home about. We had fries, crinkle cut and hot. It also had coleslaw which was tasty and creamy. My mom was along and ordered the cod dinner with a baked potato and coleslaw. The fish had a light batter and tasted fresh. The menu said three pieces but came with four pieces. Our total was $21 which included a soda for Mom. We had water. A tasty little stop. My recommendation is that the put up some kind of sign.

Food was amazing and the price was well worth it. Nice and tidy eating area and friendly service.

The Broaster is my go-to spot for a fast food burger & fries. I will happily wait the time and pay the price for a Broaster burger over a McDonald's burger. I would also recommend the broasted chicken, mashed potatoes, and coleslaw. In the summertime they use to make chicken salad croissants that were to die for.. but I believe they have since removed the menu item.

This is THE place for broasted chicken. We've been going for years and there isn't anything better in the area. Besides chicken they have a number of different items. But I'd always recommend their mainstay, the chicken!

We are always looking for GOOD fried chicken, and honestly it is not easy to always find..But I must say this chicken has the most awesome flavor..Not only chicken , but we were able to get gulf shrimp and cod fillets..This food is SUPER tasty..Its nice to go pick up dinner at a decent price and the broasting is the way to go... are sold and will be back!! love it!!
