The Big Minnow

While in town visiting friends, we stopped at Big Minnow for happy hour and dinner. They were packed. They have a large bar area along with additional seating. Their happy hour specials can't be beat...great deals on beer!In addition, don't forget to ask about their shake of the day! It's a very popular thing in this area and can earn you a few extra dollars if you decide to play along! Hint: No it's not a drink!We tried their awesome fried cheese curds that were some of the best I've ever had! Yummy and priced reasonably! We also did their fish special since it was Friday night. I had their fried fish and fries. My husband had their meatball sandwich that he said was quite delicious!Service was great as was the food. Definitely understand why it's such a popular hangout!

Good strong drinks and service but the food was mediocre at best. We would eat there again if nothing else was open but would not make a special trip for it.

Food over price and nasty. The place has gone far down hill in the past 2 years. They screw up fried food

Incredibly good service and excellent food it's a great place to hang out. The staff makes you feel like a family member. I highly recommend you visit this place.

The service was slow and we had to go to the counter and get our menus . I wouldn't recommend coming her when you can drive a extra 10 minutes to Ladysmith or Cornell. And the food was terrible.

Awesome food! Great atmosphere! The people were very friendly and I would definitely recommend for anyone! My friends and I had a great time getting drinks! It was the perfect place to watch the game with the nice TVs!
