Convenient location near UW Stout - their hogie sandwiches are offered hot or cold with multiple meat and topping options. The hogie bread isn't too think. Their soup options rotate - I loved the chicken dumpling and tomato basil. They also have coffee and ice cream - I tried their coffee flavored ice cream and it was delish! Friendly service and a unique set up inside. Busy during the lunch rush but other than that fairly open.

A classic nostalgic must stop for Menomonie! Graduating from UW-Stout years ago was an incredible experience and aiding to that experience was the coffee house and sandwich shop which is Acoustic Cafe. I recently revisited the town and am pleased to announce the menu has rarely altered which means all the same items I grew up on still exist! Ordering takes place standing up and the food will get delivered to your table. I recommend the half hoagie sandwich because it's basically a foot long cut in half and is a very good size. There are varying meats you can use or even hummus and an amazing sauce drizzled on top. Don't sleep on the nachos either as they come smothered in cheese with optional salsa and sour cream on the side (yes, I recommend getting both). Typically there are rotating soups advertised on the big chalk board and the chili is a classic one that I enjoy. As far as drinks go, there are all the standard coffee ones and even ice cream. The ambiance is warm and friendly. There is beautiful natural lighting and greenery spread across the entire space. Come enjoy! You will leave with a smile for sure.

Cute place. Went for lunch on a Friday. Loved that we could walk there from our hotel. I had the beer cheese soup and a ham hoagie which was served warm. Both were pretty amazing!

I have been visiting this café for years. Decades actually. Never a disappointment. So happy Acoustic is here in Menomonie and I hope for it to be here for many many more years!

Great food and space! The chicken and wild rice soup was amazing. Would recommend updating the baby changer in the bathroom as it is very rickety and unsafe!

The vibes and art are great. Service & food is meh. Overpriced for what you get and the coffee isn't good. Super cute place to check out but I probably wouldn't come here again.

I've been coming here for years now. Overall, sandwiches are always good. Always. Bread is so so so good, I get hoagies with everything on it and it's so perfect. Coffee is not good there tbh. I've conferred with friends and they agree-- I'm not crazy. I don't like the nachos, I don't really like their soups too much (the chicken wild rice is pretty yummy tho). I literally just come here for the sandwiches and that alone is enough to give this place 4 stars. Oh their hot chocolate and apple cider are also amazing!!! Hot chocolate especially is very comforting on cold Wisconsin nights :--) water is not free you have to pay for bottled water. Sad. Some of the student staff are really nice, but the older people who work are kinda mean... one time a friend and I got food and drinks and spent over $25 (a lot for a college student lol) and a third friend was studying with us. This friend had to use the bathroom and the staff asked "uh.. are you going to BUY something..?" And then finally let her go to the bathroom. Left a bad taste in my mouth. But the sandwiches are so freaking good when I come back to menomonie this is the first thing I usually get.

Service was great, food was just ok....unfortunately, they only serve water via sale of bottled water.

Some days I want a certain kind of sandwich and the only cure is to go to the Acoustic and get one! My favorite is salami on a pita, but the beef or corned beef are also good. The beer selection is just a couple of choices on tap but I've never been disappointed--always something good (no lite beer). And on a cold day one of the soups will hit the spot.

This is one of my go-to lunch stops. I always have the traditional hummus on a pita and it's soooooo good. Messy, but great. They offer coffee, sodas, draft root beer, and feature a couple of craft beers on tap.
