2. Tonkotsu Ramen - 1. Shoyu Ramen - Bubble Tea - Takoyaki
Interior of harumaki ($5). Terrible. Smelled weird. Buttery and sour flavor. Gave up after two bites.
ramen, ramen and noodles, noodle soup, noodle dish, food, noodles
Spring rolls and gyoza
Japanese Pork Bun
Sriracha sauce at a ramen place??? A red flag immediate went up when I saw this. The Asian people who own this place are *not* Japanese.
1. Shoyu Ramen
Their agedashi tofu is about the only thing that tasted pretty decent.
6. Vegetarian Ramen Tenka Fried Rice
Gyoza
Shoyu ramen with spicy broth. Broth was oily and noodles were a-OK. Disappointment.
Pork and karage buns. And awesome ramen!!!
broth and pork belly are outta this world delicious
menu, sushi and sashimi
3. Torishio Ramen
Tonkotsu and spicy miso ramen
2. Tonkotsu Ramen, Chicken Karaage Don, Gyoza, Japanese Pork Bun, Japanese Chicken Bun, Bubble Tea,
Super Duper amazing! Tenka Ramen noodles are the best most authentic and delicious in Minneapolis.

Stand up and salute (bow) the finest Ramen restaurant you'll ever find in the United.Highly recommend. Very friendly workers.Very clean, hospitable environment. Bathrooms are excellent. Parking is available on the street, or there are some public ramps nearby. Also, there's lots of public transportation, buses, and stuff. This is a must have if you're in uptown or going around the lakes. I particularly enjoy hot Ramen on a cold blustery winter w

Went here based on the overall good score here on Yelp on a tour of the city to different ramen places. It's kind of an odd joint. Sriracha at the tables, lots of generic Japanese decoration, and the kitchen staff conversing loudly kind of throws off the vibe. Now on to the food....it's not something I could really recommend. It's on the cheaper side of ramen places I've been to so far, but not by much. Not to warrant what you get. My wife and I both had the tonkotsu ramen which was not like any tonkotsu we'd had. It's not a rich creamy broth, it honestly tasted like it was flavored with bullion cubes or something but also watered down. The noodles were mediocre, and while the char put on the pork is nice, it was still overcooked. The mushrooms and bamboo shoots were gross and the egg was cold. Really didn't see what others saw in this place.

One of my favorite places for ramen in the twin cities. Broth is great, but not as rich as some which some will prefer, others not so much. Is it perfect? Nope, but it is better than most.

This is one of the shittiest ramen places I have been to. The server was nice tho but the noddle is way too thin and cheap. I think they just use the instant ramen noodles. The broth is not thick enough at all for Tonkotsu either. I don't know why people are leaving the positive reviews here. It is absolutely horrible. It tastes nothing like an authentic Japanese ramen..

The noodles and other items in the ramen were good. I thought the broth at ramen kazama was a bit better than this place. The service is friendly. It's a very small and cozy restaurant.

Tenka Ramen has some of my favorite veggie ramen. Most vegetarian ramen is bland or strays too far from the traditional ramen recipes, but this is a great alternative that is tasty and traditional. Their japanese buns are also very good and filling. Fried rice is standard. The service is friendly and prompt, it's a seat yourself enviornment and they bring the food out to you. Very casual spot with laid back vibes. In the heart of uptown so make sure you patronize this local business!

This is a small restaurant but the service is great. We really liked the ramen and their chicken buns. There are fun decorations and art all around the restaurant.Parking was a bit tricky as it's street parking. But overall we had a great experience here even with our young son along for the meal.

Tenka Ramen is a true hole in the wall! We were craving ramen and had yet to explore Minneapolis' best ramen spots, so we researched and landed on Tenka. I am not a ramen expert, but the food was delicious! I had the Spicy Miso - great flavor, not overwhelmingly spicy. The service was fast, and the atmosphere gave you small, family-owned vibes. It's a great spot if you need a ramen fix!

A family member saw Tenka on Insta and has been wanting to go for months. Our group of 7 graved the cold and finally decided to check it out on a Saturday evening around 545/6 pm. It should be noted there's only street parking and it's a little small inside. There is only one table that can accommodate 5-8 people, but service was friendly and fast. Between our group we ordered a lot of everything. The veggies spring rolls- total miss, very mushy without a lot of texture. I would guess there's no noodles inside.Gyoza- hit, I would order these again. Pork belly bun- I felt the pork was slightly overcooked and tough. Fried chicken bun- okay but nothing special.Fried chicken- same chicken that's on the bun, I would recommend skipping the bun and doing this instead,Fried rice- two options: shrimp and Cashew, a Ramen shop in my opinion is not the place for fried rice. I didn't recommend it then and I still don't.Mango boba- not a lot of flavor but lots of pearls.Ramen- this was the reason for coming. We ordered three bowls of ramen, all different and each person had the same response: the broth doesn't have a lot of flavor. In hindsight a lot of reviews say the same thing. Our normal Ramen spot is Zenbox, we prefer their broth to Tenka but Tenka meat was better. Now, was the meat better for us to switch and come back? Sadly no. I don't think anyone in our group will be making the trip back to Tenka. Again, service and staff 10/10 but the food ehh.
