This cafe is located inside the festival foods. There is a large bakery case and option for to go orders. The wild rice scramble was unique and overall tasty with a large portion. It said it had bacon- it was Canadian bacon which I don't prefer. They had no gluten free toast option which was a bummer. The black coffee was good- tasted fresh roasted. The interior was nothing special- this felt like an add on tithe grocery store rather than a dedicated restaurant.

Food:Swedish pancakes with lingonberry jamThe pancakes were more like crepes. They were soft and the lingonberry name complemented it well. I also opted to remove the whipped cream. I had wished there was more lingonberry because that was delicious and seemed a more uniquely Minnesota/Swedish flavor (not sure where the lingonberries came from). Ambiance:This place is popular with the senior crowd. It's a simple, clean, setup with good food. Overall: I was glad to try some Scandinavian tastes and wish I had more time to try more.

It was our last day in Minnesota, and we were looking for a bakery. We found Taste of Scandinavia and we were pleasantly surprised. The pastries were delicious, and they got my coffee order just the way I like it. Our barista was a sweetheart, she made sure I liked my coffee which was nice. I would return the next time I'm in town

Mixed bag. Food can be ok or big miss. The workers for the most part seem to be happy and in good spirits, friendly.Mediterranean breakfast wrap is pretty good. We asked for it without olives server kinda made a big deal about taking them off? Which was odd, or maybe it's a pre-made item, idk, seemed like a reasonable request. Biscuits and gravy are an absolute joke. They're Pillsbury Biscuits and pre-made gravy. Hard pass.Hashbrowns are almost always pretty undercooked and pale, would like a little crisp on them, they are hasbrowns after all.Scambles are ok, but eggs usually overcooked, firmer potatoes which is fine, but sometimes border on still raw. Prices are reasonable, but honestly you can get better food for same, or less, other places

This location is located inside of the Festival Foods. Placed an online order a few days ago and picked up the cake yesterday. No issues and very easy to do. This is the second year in a row I've ordered my birthday cake from them. I enjoyed the lemon cake this year. Will be back again!

Never excited to eat in a Grocery store, the Breakfast Menu from dishes served seems to be popular!

We went to the Bloomington location, which was formerly a Byerlys restaurant. It's connected to a grocery store. We went there to have a Swedish Valentinesbreakfast, and the food did not disappoint! Got some lefse and pastries to take home as well. We'll be back!

When my boyfriend took a business trip to MN, I started the search for fresh lefse near his hotel. We were in luck to find Taste of Scandinavia. He said the bakery staff was extremely friendly, knowledgeable. The lefse rounds are enormous - the size of large pizzas. We only have frozen lefse available in Seattle, unless you're lucky to find some fresh around the holidays. It is one of my Norwegian dad's favorite treats. Luckily TSA didn't confiscate the lefse and they'll make a great birthday present for an 86 year old!
