Not good food, barely ate any. Dirty place inside and out. Not recommended. Naan was somehow the worst I've had.

This place is so good! The service is fast and temperature wise, food is very hot(something that can make or break my experience)! The samosas we're the only thing I grabbed a photo of because they came first. The chicken korma with the garlic naan was absolutely delicious. I love that it's local and has a quiet and intimate environment. The mango lassi was heavenly and the size is bigger than any other place I've been to!! I truly left here a very happy guy‼

Taste of Nepal is a recent addition to the small out of the way culinary gems of St. Paul. The co-owner (with her brother) greeted us with a broad smile in the smallish dining room well lit with sunshine flowing in. Deciding on a lunch entree was difficult as there were many temptations on the ample menu.We ordered lamb curry and shrimp curry. The spices had been allowed to blend into a wonderful sauce which made the tender lamb morsels memorable. The shrimp was 'cocktail' texture perfect with a mildly hot backside. We paused from time-to-time, enjoying the best flavors we'd had in awhile. We left feeling fully nourished and satisfied.

The food was super delicious!! The portion of food was enough for 2 people too! Would defiantly go back. 10/10. The photo is vegetable Manchurian. I also got their garlic naan (10/10), dal makhani (10/10), and goat biryani (1000/10). Super delicious and fast service.

I've had a couple meals lately from Taste of Nepal. Surprising it took me this long, since they're just down the hill from me. Solid food. I order everything Extra Hot, but they haven't really managed to bring the heat, that woulda earned 'em 5 stars. A decent warmth, though, hot enough (probably TOO hot) for most Minnesotans. Chicken curry had a LOT of chicken, which was tender and tasty. I just had their chicken biryani today, and it's awesome - I got it for take-away, and there's enough for at least three meals in there. That one did have a few peppers that had a little burn. Since I'm always in search of very hot food, it was just a tiny bit disappointing. Other Tibetan restaurants I've eaten at seem to enjoy burning your face off. It's cool that every place seems to have their own take on biryani. I've had it at four local South Asian restaurants, and it's always been unique. It's a nice little spot, clean inside, and the service has been excellent.

We traveled to MN for a wedding and stopped by this little place on recommendation from a friend. I've never eaten so much in my life! I loved my tikka masala and the Chicken 65. The two people I was with both ordered Biryani and raved. The spice is a little hotter than most ethnic restaurants in America. Mild was not spicy, but medium had a kick. They had a range of dishes here and offered many vegetarian options. Prices seemed high but you could easily split any entree with a friend. They had one or two parking spaces and the restaurant was very clean and new inside. Not glamorous but had everything you need to enjoy your meal. Worth the trip and price - I will dream of this place after we leave!

This is a small, delicious find in this part of St. Paul. We had veggie samosas to start. These were done very well, with the correct texture on the outside and not greasy or oily inside. For my main, I had chicken biryani with "medium" spice. I think they held back on me a bit, but the taste and tenderness of the chicken and the taste and texture of the sauce were exellent. My wife got Chicken Korma with "no spice". This was also excellent. The interior is basic but clean. The staff were very friendly, talking to us about some of the dishes and their path to starting the restaurant.

This place opened very recently (I believe some time in May 2021) next to a Nepali grocery store. The restaurant took over the dental office space formerly occupied by Dr. Lor. The food is SO. GOOD. So far I've sampled these entrees: the thali, palak paneer, the veggie momos (which are a MUST get!), Nepali chow mein, and the Nepali fried rice. Everything I've had is super flavorful and delicious. One tip, however - the default spice level for the chow mein is HOT, so if you can't handle lots of heat, make sure to let them know you want it mild (my son, who loves extremely hot food, confirmed the spice level). I love spicy food but the older I get, the less it likes me. Definitely gotta try the momos though. The achar sauce that goes with them is *chef's kiss.* This area is starting to get some really good restaurants - yay for the North End! The only drawback is that there isn't much parking here, but it hasn't been a problem when I've been and their takeout service is super fast. The space is fairly small but nice and cheery, and there's a huge TV which is generally either playing soccer matches or Nepalese singers. Looks like they are getting ready to start a buffet as well - there is a hot table set up at the rear of the restaurant but it wasn't going when I got there today.FIVE.STARS. Go here, get the momos and something else, and you will be happy.

Really good food! I usually get the aloo palak (spinach and potatoes) and garlic naan. The restaurant doesn't look like much outside, but the food is great and prices are reasonable.

Small restaurant but with food better than many big restaurants. Chicken 65 is super good. Really like the naan. Crispy and chewy. Pork momo is very juicy and taste really good with the sauce.
