i just left a review for the wrong location but who cares?! these places rock. a great combination of good food at reasonable prices. sadly this combo of restaurant used to be more of the norm, say 10+ years ago. today they still exist, but in far fewer numbers. help keep these gems open!fairly standard menu, though the flavors and authenticity nothing to snuff at. dine solo or with amigas/amigos. casual atmosphere. when i was there they were more or less blasting music with soccer/fútbol analysis on the background tvs. come support this business with your presence and dollars!

One of my favorite food trucks has a brick and mortar now! PARKING: paid street parking or use their parking lot around backINSIDE: We came for lunch, but I get the vibe that this place is better in the evening! They have string lights and a karaoke setup and booth that sounds like a good time. They have several TVs.It's nothing too fancy and some of the tables were pretty dirty. But we're here for the food! SERVICE: Cashier was super kind - order at the front and he brings it out to your table.FOOD: Quesabirria - really good consommé! I could have done with crispier outside of the tacos.Tacos: they fill these bad boys to the brim with meat and the flavor is top notch! Quesadilla: good balance of cheese and meat. It came with great rice and beans!Salsas: orange is super hot, and green is mild.Horchata: a bit sweeter than I like but still goodGreat tacos and consommé - excited for them that they got a brick and mortar!

Taqueria El Primo is a new brick and mortar extension of their existing taco truck, and my early experiences are promising.GOOD: The menu only has 5 items, and I've tried most of them; everything I've had is good. The torta particularly stands out as the best I've had in the area. The quesadilla was a nice surprise; it's a more traditionally Mexican quesadilla with very little cheese but lots of meat and pickled onion piled on a warm and delicious tortilla.The dining room here is quite spacious, especially considering the limited menu. Once the coronavirus pandemic is over, this will be a fun place to bring a group.MEH: Hopefully as business improves they will be able to expand their menu. I look forward to seeing what else this place will have to offer. Right now it's a big space with only a food truck menu, and that's strange. But given the high quality, I don't mind.

Food was delicious and the Horchata was fresh and homemade. Since I was waiting they offered me a free one. The food is absolutely authentic. Four stars because needs some ambiance, but filled with local workers. If your think of it as the best "Food Truck" you won't be disappointed! The carnitas and horchata were the best I've had in Minnesota.

This is THE best mexican food in the city. The staff are sooo nice and super helpful. Everything on the menu is bomb, you can't go wrong here. Sadly it's usually pretty empty inside, I wish more people knew about this place! But on the bright side, you will never have to wait in line! This is the restaurant location, but they also have a food truck on Lake st, which is just as good, but slightly more popular.

To me this place was worth a visit for dinner. From the time I walked in to the time I left I really felt at home. From the friendly staff, to the simplified menu, to the fun and fast service that I received. Of course their food was just amazing, since their street tacos might be small, but they really packed a powerful punch in flavor, and having some extra ingredients you don't normally see in a street taco. Of course this place is I really need to go back to, especially to try yet a different menu item, maybe a bigger taco or burrito next time.

Go to for tacos and tortas brought my family and they also love it here.Recommend getting Quesabirrias they're delicious.

I am not too crazy about this place, but it's only because I can't relate to the style of Mexican cooking. Anyhow, something that I found really good and I would tell everyone to try is the steak Huarache. Also, the employees are very friendly and willing to help. owever if you don't like "corrido music or other similar types of Mexican music I would not recommend you to come here during the night.
