Taqueria El Manguito

I'm in love with this taco truck! I don't quite know their schedule cause sometimes they're here and sometimes they're not but Sweet Basil is one of my favorite Thai restaurants so we always stop for an Elote corn at least once a week. This week I came twice... it's also on my way to the office so sometimes a nice treat on the drive home! They have authentic tacos, really great burritos, and pet above, incredible corn! Reasonable prices, fantastic taste, and wonderful service. They always cook it fresh to order and super speedy so if you're super hungry like I always am when I stop by, it is a real blessing!

Good people and taco truck. Great street tacos . We tried Al pastor, Chicken, Chorizo. Rice and beans were good and so was their tamale .

This is a food truck that has been parked in Brooklyn Park in a strip mall just east of Zane, south of 610, across Zane from the Hy-Vee. They have been there since April 2021 and do a thriving business. Food is very authentic. - Thank you I-35 corridor from the border that has brought so many good foods further north! Their menu consists of several options, all good and prepared fresh to order. Tacos, burritos, quesadillas, alambres, tamales and sopes. I tried the alambres the first time and they were excellent. Great fresh flavor, served with freshly made tortillas. A lot of food for the price. The second time I tried tacos. 2 al pastor and 2 carne asada. Both were tasty. I also had an ear of Mexican street corn (elote) that was also a treat. Their sauces appear also to be made fresh as well. I liked the hotter one, but the mild is also excellent. Food is prepared while you wait. The only thing that was hard was that the noise from the compressor for the power generator was loud. Ambience is not why I visit a food truck, however. This place serves authentic food for a fair price. I will be back again.

This taco truck is amazing and the woman who runs it is a gem! Their El Pastor tacos are the best. I'm a white MN woman - so the green sauce was awesome for me, but I don't doubt that the hot sauce was wonderful as well! Come support the local truck when they are out there. 4/1 to about mid November depending on the weather (according to the owner!).
