First time to Taco Chon. The tacos wer great but i got chip and salsa. The chips were stale. Really bad.

Taco Chon brought me back to living in San Diego, nice to have an authentic Mexican restaurant in the area. Great menu options (menu in store was bigger than online which was a pleasant surprise). Service was so pleasant and friendly. Food was fast and delicious! Rice and beans were good. The pastor didn't blow me away like pastor often does, but it was still really good. I'll be back! Glad to have Taco Chon in Burnsville.

Excellent! So happy Taco Chon is in the southern metro and on the way when going to the Cities. We made our first visit this past week after watching a segment on Fox 9 around the ongoing Taco Chon / Taco John legal troubles. Wanted to support this local establishment and also get some good Mexican food. It was around 230 PM on a Friday and it was bustling. Ordered some street tacos with a variety of meats and was amazed at how fresh, hot, and savory it was. Loved it. We look forward to trying more items (e.g., the Mexican-style burger) off the menu next time.

Authentic fine in or carry out food delicious. The last of the great Taco Salad in the fried shell. Staff are fast and great cooks . Cashiers are a bit impatient if you have not been there before to know correct ingredients. Serve yourself forks, drinks and they have the old hand filled ice dispenser . Music can get too loud at the small back bar. But they are accommodating. In a small strip mall with free parking. It is a must! As all items delicious!I love it there

I wanted to love Taco Chon! Ordered quite a few things but honestly wasn't very good. I also got very sick a few hours after eating. Not sure if it was this place or what. The guacamole is nothing more than mushed avocados, no seasoning whatsoever. Disappointing but the chips were good. Got a couple burritos and some Birria tacos. Mediocre. Probably won't be back.

My husband and I tried Taco Chon's last night and this is the review to read. We are not basic foodies but actually know great food, have traveled Mexico extensively and have the palate to differentiate authentic Mexican food to mediocre Americanized Mexican food. This place it by far the best Mexican we have had in Minnesota. The Aguachile was fantastic. It is a must try. The heat from the peppers mixed with the cool of the shrimp, cucumbers and onions had us wanting more. Fabulous flavor and made to order. Nachos Locos had the right amount of meat and toppings so every bite was an explosion of flavor. The Birria Taco Plate was insanely delicious, tacos with the right amount of crunch to the delicious and flavorful consommé. The food was not the only surprise, we ended up chatting with the owners. Such great people! Such a great night with great food and wonderful owners!

Ordered to be delivered. Carne asada with rice and beans. Got no rice and double the beans Very upset as I love Mexican rice. Then when I call to complain they don't answer the phone and their mailbox is full. This was the first time I tried this place. I won't be back. Too many other good places around. If I could give no stars I would.
