Finally decided to try this place. Initially we thought- meh cupcakes are cupcakes. Even Sprinkles in Chicago is not impressive. Magnolia's in the West Village is very good as there are only very few patisserie's who do this really well. We have a specialty chef who makes birthday cakes for us down in Dallas.It's been tough finding someone else unique with the flavor profile we like. I'm the type of person who refuses to waste calories on bad desserts. That would be a hard no thank you to store bought cakes and cupcakes. Sweet Treasures was a complete surprise! The owner was there- so we asked her recommendation. She explained their flavors change daily and she pointed out their food awards as well as her time on television competing in the Food Network competitions. Ok by now she must've realized she's upped the expectation on these cupcakes. We opted to take ours to go so we received this beautiful box that I'm sure costs $2 per package it reminded me of my days in product management and packaging. This little place is clean and welcoming. Not busy at all but hopefully word of gets around, this is a nice little gem in this neighborhood.We went with the hot fudge cupcake and raspberry almond wedding cake. Perfect pairing with the most delectable buttercream frosting we've ever tasted. They use either the Swiss or Italian merengue style buttercream which results in an ice cream like texture. Great desserts for me are about subtle flavors that ring thru like a fine wine. The cake was bouncy and moist, paired perfectly with the merengue style frosting. If you like overpowering sugar then this is not the place for you. Go to the grocery store instead.I was impressed. We will go back again, $6 per cupcake is worth it. Now it's time to try another flavor!

Service leaves a lot to be desired! I was interested in learning a bit more about the flavors and recommendations the baker/cashier was not interested in assisting much. I did end up getting the wedding cake cupcake. It was okay. The cupcake itself is a bit dry and the frosting is not sweet (the baker did warn me). I quite enjoyed the lemon filling but don't know if I'd be returning due to the flavor. They do offer treats for dogs so that's a win! They also have macaroons and non cupcake treats. It is very quiet and clean inside, great for an intimate conversation or study session. Glad I was finally able to try this place!

I got the gf salted Carmel and my husband got the regular peanut butter crunch. The cupcakes were good but that's it. They were good. The frosting was very very very light whipped with little flavor. The cupcake itself was moist and tasty but lacking. We've had better (both gf and regular cupcakes). Price wise isn't bad. We weren't blown away. If you're looking for cupcakes (gf or regular) there are more flavorful options available. The people that worked at the location were very nice.

When I walked in the first thing I noticed was how clean and modern the place was! I love the colors they used and everything was perfect! It's worth noting that they have free wifi! So this would be a great place to grab a treat and study or work!! The service was fast and friendly. No one was at the counter when I first walked in, and I thought may be it was closing for the day. But someone came out fairly quickly. Today I tried 4 different cupcakes. They do have coffees, different drinks, ice cream, cupcakes, cookies and cakes. My honest review of the cupcakes:Pros: -The cake itself is moist and has a great texture!! Very tasty! - The fillings were a surprise and were very tasty, I'm not sure if all the cupcakes are filled.-The buttercream is extremely smooth!Cons:-There is just soooo much buttercream frosting! My family and I ended up scraping some off.-There really isn't any flavor to the buttercream. The Cookie Blast had a little bit of sweetness but it honestly tasted like eating whipped butter off cake... I appreciate that the frosting isn't overly sweet but it just doesn't really taste like anything. I really liked the vibe, service and would love to come back and try other treats from this place! I'd say give them try!

We have been to Sweet Treasures a few times so far but on this last order of a dozen cupcakes we spent around $ 75.00. We ordered a dozen cupcakes for a friend and a church group. When we found out our friend who's birthday we were celebrating injured her leg while on vacation couldn't be with us & the church group when we were all together.We tried to get a separate container for a few cupcakes to give the individual who had injured her leg because she was unable to join us.It was very disappointing after spending this amount on cupcakes we could not get a smaller separate container to store these cupcakes & present them to her for her birthday without spending a additional 4.00 for a box. Really? We felt it was a small request and not unreasonable. Where is the customer satisfaction?Don't get me wrong, the products that are showcased are delicious and worth the extra cost for a special occasion. But after this incident we will limit our visitations, my wife was very disappointed.

This is by far my favorite bakery/coffee shop. I can't believe they now have soft serve ice cream! I tried the cookie blast one and it was delish! I love coming here for cupcakes and coffee! Caramel macchiato is the best!
