Sweet Kneads Farmington Bakery

My husband ordered two anniversary cakes from this bakery in November. Service was amazing, very helpful in store and via email.Decoration on the cakes were also very good (right in line with the pictures my husband provided).The main reason I didn't give this bakery 5 stars is because both cakes were on the dry side which wasn't the end of the world but when ordering from a bakery we had hoped for a more moist cake.

Great donuts selection. The apple fritter was fantastic. I also liked the Carmel muffin I had. Worth the drive from Minneapolis.

Amazing bakery in the town of Farmington. We love the caramel bran muffins. They also have some delicious cannolis and a large donut selection. So much to choose from at this delicious bakery!

I heard this place had some yummy treats so we went out of our way to check it out.It's in the quaint little town of Farmington.There is free street parking outside.Inside is a simple bakery - nothing fancy. There were quite a few people around the cash register and in front of the bakery cases and I wasn't sure where the line started. I stood at one end for awhile and then realized people were lining up in the back of the store so we moved.There were so many baked goods to choose from. They also had giant donuts which would be fun for a kids birthday: My boys each picked a donut and I picked the cookie.The donuts were pretty good. They let me taste there donuts/ I liked that the don't skimp on icing like Dunkin does now. We shared the Cookie and All LOveD it!! It was amazing and I would Definitely go back for their sugar cookies!!! Yum!

We decided to give them one last try since we were a block away. It was a Sunday and they weren't busy when we came in. Two teenagers were standing and talking to each other so we waited 10 minutes for service while they finished their conversation.We tried a caramel cheesecake square and a sugar donut. Biting into the cheesecake square, I tasted the caramel but it was very chewy and turned into a hard ball in my mouth. The cheesecake part was hard and not particularly like cheesecake. I spit it out.My husband tried the donut and they are still heavy and greasy. He spit his out too.Lots of people like this bakery but we just don't.

What a cute bakery! Their decor is adorable and the space is large with a ton of natural light. I was overwhelmed by the variety of treats they offer, honestly I am trying hard to think of something that you cannot find here! Their bakery cases were fully stocked with every baked treat you could ever want.I browsed their refrigerated cases and was blown away to see the variety there too! Gluten free treats of all kinds, ice cream cakes and fresh baked chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches, and decorated cakes for all sorts of special occasions. I wish I would have snapped a photo of their giant iced donuts with sprinkles, I'm not kidding they were bigger than my head! The employee behind the counter was so sweet and welcoming. On top of being delicious, everything was very reasonably priced. Sweet Kneads will have our business for many years to come!

Went here for a yummy breakfast as we've heard good things about it. I really wish they had things labeled, as most weren't. The shelves were, and part of a case was, but the vast majority of muffins, scones, other pastries, donuts, were not. Not sure why they could label the cheesecakes and breads, but nothing else. They had a HUGE variety of pastries so labels would be very helpful. Especially because when we asked, which flavor just one muffin was, the employee wasn't sure and seemed irritated that we asked, so labels would probably help everyone. It would make me hesitant to ask about or try anything I'm not sure about, especially because I don't want to ask about so many different things that I don't know what they are. They also don't have a price list, menu, or anything like that to help. Some of the employees seemed friendly, but the two we dealt with we NOT. They seemed quite miserable frankly. Also we ordered a breakfast sandwich and they did not bring it over to us even though we were just on the other side of the counter, but she just sat there watching us and waiting until we walked directly up to her which was quite odd to me (especially because I didn't know it was ready). But to the actual food: the raspberry muffin was AMAZING. One of the better muffins we've had. The breakfast sandwich (sausage with croissant) was also definitely an order again. The blueberry strudels were disappointing, I hate to say it but kind of thought they tasted like prepacked ones I used to get at the gas station. The fruit tart was pretty good. They did have a section of gluten free baked goods as well which I thought was nice for those who have to or want to avoid gluten. We'll be back, but definitely hope for a few customer service improvements (labeled foods and kind, helpful staff).

So good and fresh! We will be definitely making this a regular stop. Lots of fresh baked bread, brownies and donuts

Fantastic choices!Rarely do I find mocha bars. It didn't disappoint! Delicious!!!Plenty of space to sit and signage everywhere although not easy to read. Sweet lady behind the counter and apologized for being a bit slow although she wasn't. How cordial.
