Super USA Ed’s Deli

Did you know you can get one of the best sandwiches in the metro inside a convenience store in Como?Ed's Deli, inside the Super USA, makes some of the best Lebanese food I've ever had. The kitchen is only open for breakfast and lunch service M-F, but if you stop by outside of those hours you can still grab stuff from the cold case! The pita chips ($3.99) are always a must for me, and I usually pair with the labneh ($4.99), a Lebanese yogurt chese, which is AMAZING but they were out today--but Ed was kind enough to give us a complimentary tub of the baba ganoush ($5.29) to try which was delicious!!My go-to here is always the chicken + garlic sandwich ($10). I've tried the bowl, I've tried the falafel, but that sandwich is just TOO good. Comes with lettuce, pickles, and fries on it, with the option to add jalapeños--and I always do! You can add a side of fries to any entree for $1.50 which is a steal--items all made to order, so the sandwich comes out fresh and the fries are hot and crispy every time!The food is best when it's fresh out of the kitchen; so it was really cool to see today that they've added a couple of tables--two small standing hi-tops in the store, and a couple of picnic tables outside. It may be unassuming from the outside, but don't be fooled--Ed's packs an absolute punch of flavor and is one of my favorite spots in the metro.

You can find Ed's Deli inside Super USA convenient store, and man what a surprise it was for me. Father and son team that are the most genuine and kindest people ever. I ordered quiet a few things, Zaatar Manoush, Meat Manoush, beef shawarma bowl, Sujoc pizza, hummus, taboule, and Ashta for dessert. I was planning on taking all of this to go, but I wanted to try a bite of the meat manoush, it was so good, i couldnt stop eating it. Little do you know, 10 minutes go by, and Im down a meat manoush, zaatar manoush, and ashta dessert. The food is obviously made fresh and made the right way. Im so glad I found Ed's Deli. Will 1000% come back alot more

A quick stop for snacks, oil etc ... and some great middle eastern food! A family affair. No seating , no atmosphere, but worth twice the price! Stand in line at the register to order! But ORDER! We had a Great meal, falafel wrap and the beef shawarma bowl with rice, & the baklava! Then drive to Como park to eat. Perfection. Even Big Fave had enough after working outside the whole morning! Easy access off of 280.

All the reviews and pictures show a section called Ed's Deli with Middle Eastern delights, but on a Saturday all I could find was various brands of sandwiches and wraps made from out of town, way out of town companies.Evidently the good stuff is made on the weekdays. Why couldn't they make some ahead and keep cool for the weekend? The sandwich I had was amazingly fresh although it was made by K F Foods of Green Bay.There is also a line of juices from Calypso which has exotic blends and a colorful bottle, but how exotic is a drink from Milwaukee? At any rate it was refreshing to see creative flavors of lemonade and limeade with peach or strawberry thrown in.The store is neat and clean and has all the basics of a gas station convenience store, except you can't buy gas. The owner seems friendly and I'll eventually try on a weekday to find the shawarma and other garlic infused delights.

From the outside you might be a little confused, as it looks just like a normal convenience store, but inside they have a little deli with great Middle Eastern food. I love the Beef Schwarma sandwich and the falafel.

Ed's is outstanding! I regret all the years I have gone by without going on. Ed's serves lunch M-F.Everything was well-seasoned and prepared with care. My personal favorite is the beef shawarma sandwich. It's so juicy and flavorful! The toppings complement the beef perfectly. The chicken shawarma is also delicious. The garlic sauce and fries perfectly complement the chicken. The meat pie I got was freshly baked and flavorful. The hummus is smooth and luscious. The pita chips have an outstanding crunch! Ed's, you are one of my favorite places in the Twin Cities!

Unreal gas station food! All prepared fresh. I got the chicken garlic shawarma sandwich with fries on the side. The fries are way too good to stuff in the sandwich. Get them on the side! And get extra pickle, the sandwich does need a little extra sodium (in my opinion). The garlic flavor is great! If I lived closer, I would be stocking my fridge with his garlic dip and pita chips. Get it there and eat at Ed's!

Wow! You know those little places tucked into convenience stores that are AMAZING? Yeah. Well this is one of them. That garlic sauce for the fries alone is five stars. Different specials from Ed all day long. I personally had the beef shawarma and it was outstanding. A lady ahead of me ordered the chicken and she ordered it like a regular. The place is budget and oh so delicious.
