Station 280

If you go on weekends it's going to be a typical college bar very busy and loud but it has great food would def recommend it during the week don't expect 5 stare service from the staff tho

From the outside looking in, it is a very sketchy bar. The parking lot is very run down with not a lot of places to park, but people mostly Uber there. Drinks are 2 for 1 so very cheap. Decent amount of seating, but there's nothing super great about the place other than cheap drinks. They do have servers that walk around to take your order which is nice! Good spot for a big group, but would not recommend for a nice night out for dinner and drinks.

Can you say FRICKLES?? Yum shalla!! 2:1 drinks are a crowd favorite, although service was slow maybe he thought we needed more time to drink. Instead we were sharing the 2:1s.. not sure if that's allowed but that's what we did. Had lots of fun and will be back!

Cheap drinks good specials but every review claiming poor service spot on. The place is huge and there is usually 1 bartender. We went on a Tuesday and Sunday and took about 10 mins for the bartender to even acknowledge us. We did sit at a table and had Jeremiah as our waiter and he was so friendly and gave us great service. Went again on a sat evening and they had two bartenders and service wasnt as slow as the sunday and i do have to give them credit for keeping up for the most part. Think its a staffing issue rather then the actual staff. We had pizza was ehhh typical bar food. The walleye was very salty and fishy. But think it may be the type of fish just not used to this type. We have also had wings which were the best thing we have eaten there. Jalapeño poppers were over cooked

This is a large sports bar in a little hidden area in Saint Paul.The bar and seating areas are huge. A ton of places to sit, drink, and enjoy the day. Staff was hit or miss for me. We came in and were greeted to what do you want to drink before we even sat. I was like I'm not sure yet. I like when people are ready to serve but, it was more of an inconvenience that we didn't know. I hadn't been there before, I wasn't aware of the specials, or anything. Eventually she came back and we did rail drinks as they had 2-4-1s all day. We both had two sets which totaled $15. That's a fair deal coming at $3.75 a drink. If you want real ginger ale then do not get ginger ale in your drink. They use sprite and aromatic bitters instead. This is common but, not for everyone. We decided to get some wings and 1/2 off apps since it was happy hour. We decided on nachos and Italian pizza fries. The food comes in huge portions which was really surprising.Wings: we went for bone in buffalo with a side of blue cheese. These wings were soggy but, the buffalo flavor was good. I like meaty and crispy wings so I will give these a 4/10.Nachos: these are corn tortillas topped with cheddar, black beans, corn, lettuce, tomatoes, jalapeños, green onions, and olives. We added chicken and asked for a side of guacamole which is $2 extra. We started eating and realized we didn't have the guacamole. We let her know and said we don't need it anyone but, she insisted that we have it. When we told her we didn't want it we thought maybe she would take it off the bill but she did not. The nachos were basically gone when she brought it. The nachos also were lacking in the cheese department. 6/10Italian Pizza Fries: the best part was the marinara. The pizza fries were things, flimsy, and flavorless. 2/10 This is a place to drink and hangout. I would pass on the food but, would have a great time having drinks and watching sports with friends.

Honestly Station 280 is nothing special. There are really only 3 major reasons why my friends and I come here: convenient location (good halfway area for me and my friends), plenty of parking and all day 2 for 1s on drinks. The only good food here is are the wings- this is a warning. Oh and there are usually plenty of tables. I've came here a couple of things and one time there was a huge fight. There was no security on sight and the cops got here many 15 minutes after the fight was done when the people involved in the fight already left/asked to leave. The service here is SUPER SLOW and you would be lucky if a staff greets/notice you. Every time we come here we know to go straight to the bar to order or wave down a server right away.

Great food, I really love the pizza and wings there. Good service and s as atmosphere. A go to spot for lunch and when you're hungry.

This place would be a lot cooler if they started to play live music again. The food is definitely good though.

BEWARE! WAITRESS NAMED LINDSEY A. WILL INCREASE HER TIP WITHOUT YOU KNOWING WHEN USING A CREDIT CARD TO PAY. Might want to keep your receipts and check your bank statements when you go there at Station 280. It was my second time there and I will never ever go back. Their waitresses will not charge the tip you wrote down on the receipt, instead they increase the tip. I'm one to keep all my receipts and check my statements afterwards. Although she didn't increase the tip by much, she didn't go by what I had given her and wrote as a tip on the receipt. I emailed the company and waited about 3 wks to get a response from the manager and they clearly don't care about their customers or the fact that their waitresses steal from customers. Although it wasn't by much, if she is doing this on a busy day with all her customers like the day I was there, it adds up. It isn't about the money but the principle, and it is still stealing no matter how little the amount is if she is charging more than what the customers wrote down as a tip. LINDSEY A. & MGR AT STATION 280, SHAME ON YOU. THIEVES. Let me add, we were ignore for the first 15-20 mins. we sat down. The food is also only mediocre. So if you don't care about waitresses stealing from you, it's not even worth going there based on food and customer service.Just read Elaine X's review on here. Why am I not shocked this happened to someone else. Looks like it's the norm there. Like she did, I also called to speak with a manager and no one answered either, that's why I emailed them and still no response. PEOPLE STOP GOING THERE! THEIR STAFF OBVIOUSLY STEAL FROM CUSTOMERS!

Glad it was busy but ignoring customers and being rude makes them leave and go spend money somewhere else ...
