Don't we all love a good antique mall, this one's good, it's filled with more Victorian, Art Deco and arts&crafts era pieces than mcm. Which is a change of pace from the booming trend down in Madison where we're from. That being said, this one was a tad over priced, with a couple hidden gems throughout. Staples Mill Antiques is a gorgeous mall to walk through if you have free time, it is filled with color/heights and the layouts. So much to be found.

This is one of the best antique malls in Stillwater.I'm not a big fan of antique malls. I prefer single owner antique stores. They tend to have a lot nicer stuff...not hundreds of little dealers with thousands of knick-knacks. But I have to say that Staples Mill is one of the nicest - if not THE nicest - antique mall in Stillwater. It's definitely the biggest. The prices all seem to be very reasonable to me. If you're not happy with the prices for antiques here - frankly - you should probably just leave and buy some cheap crap at Ikea or Walmart. Seriously. The store is so huge you almost get lost inside. From what I can tell (it's a bit confusing inside) it's 3 floors (I think). There's a huge variety of items since it's so huge with so many vendors. The nicest stuff seems to be on the first floor, cheaper stuff on the upper floors. On the far back top floor, some modern stuff that probably has no business being in an antique store. If it has a bar code and came from China, it should probably be at a garage sale and not a Stillwater "antique" store. But you're sure to find something interesting if you look around.I couldn't find any drop dead, rare, super expensive items. I'm a bit of an antique snob so I like seeing the rare, pricey items. I like to see at least a few things that are over $500 and some $1000 (and up) beautiful rarities. But for a mall-style place with lots of little vendors, these folks do a good job.Worth the stop.-Daddy Maxx Retro

We had a bad experience the same day with another antique store and our kids so we almost called it quits and I'm glad we did not before we visited this place.Very cool antique mall that is situated in old lumber mill. The lady at the front desk was super nice to my wife and my kids and was very uncommon dating with us having small kiddos. She even recommended a little Park in downtown Stillwater that was great for kids. The building itself is worth the walk through as it is very unique with many different levels and lots of different things to look at.

I love this Antique shop! A must stop in beautiful downtown Stillwater. Bit of nostalgia walking through, sure is a fun way to spend an afternoon. It's a big place (2 floors with many rooms) with all kinds of treasures hidden within every corner, so make sure you give yourself enough time to really take it in and appreciate. The staff are kind and they have coffee by the front desk, so pour yourself a cup and stroll through. You'll find everything from toys, jewelry, records, cookware, dishes, cookbooks, furniture, military items and so much more. Find a unique piece to add a bit of interest into the decor of your home.

Lots of cool stuff for a fair price. We've bought a few records from there and one of the workers/owners lowered the prices for us! Awesome workers and overall a nice place

Prices are a little high, set for the occasional antique shopper like myself, one that's not too serious in wanting to "hunt out" the good deal but just wants a fun or classy find. It is a fun shop to explore. We found a golf set (the kind where you put and it returns the ball) from the 1940's. Note: If you or someone you're with is handicapped, can't walk very well, or is elderly, the store can be pretty difficult to navigate as it is multiple levels with steep staircases that are particularly crowded on busy days...

This is my favorite stop for antiques in Stillwater. Their prices are more than fair and the building itself just sets the mood for digging through old treasures. They also have a nice selection of furniture at very fair prices (though, as I am poor as a church mouse right now, I can't indulge in them). If you are downtown, definitely make the extra trek out to see the Mill. You will not be disappointed! (And will probably spend more than you intended!)

I absolutely love Staples Mill Antiques. It's your typical antique store..it even smells old, but they have rooms upon rooms of treasures. Some of the stuff (depending on how rare it is) can be pretty expensive, but I have found some real gems for a bargain. It's a great place to look around and spend a few hours!

I was in Stillwater for a short time yesterday. I was disappointed when the "downtown" antique stores closed at 5. As I was leaving town I noticed Staples Mill with a huge open sign. So I stopped and their sign said open until 6. Then when I entered, I was told they were closing early, at 5:30. Well, ok, there is one specific thing I was looking for so I started walking through the large store at a faster pace. When I got back downstairs, I ran into a man who said he was turning off the lights and the store was closing. My phone said it was 5:15! I told him that I was told it was 5:30. He said it takes 10-15 minutes to turn off the lights! I said that would mean that the store isn't really open then until 5:30. I had a couple of items I was going to purchase but I set them down and left. There are plenty of antique shops. I don't need to patronize places with rude staff.

I love going to this antique mall. I come up from Texas every summer, and look foward to my day spent in Stillwater, and the Staples Mill Antiques Mall is my favorite! There is something for everyone, smalls to large items, all price ranges. The staff is courteous, helpful, but not overbearing. I highly recommend that you allow yourself a minimum of 2-3 hours to go through to make sure you don't miss anything!
