Ran a search for cheap drinks and this place came. So false!! A regular bottle of beer and a call vodka drink was $9.00. Sorry, but that's not cheap at all. There on a Sunday afternoon too. Disappointed for sure.

OFF THE BEATEN PATH !!!I've been here a few times, and I like how the city of Stacy seems to own and run this bar. It seems to be very community oriented. Nice.There weren't very many tvs like a normal sports bar, but there seems to be a DART following here. Pool tables as well.The clutter on the walls and hanging from the ceiling is in line with all the other small bars whose managers can't say no to their beer reps to ostentatious signs. Junky, Just junky. Also, with no sense of placement. Geez. I got a headache just looking around.The food I have had here is less than mediocre, and served in a basket but at "plate" prices. Really? But still, today I was still celebrating new granddaughter's birth and stopped on my way to Wyoming . Had a favorite beer, and after reading the menu, noticed the fanfare for the cheese curds. " Better than the State Fair's !" You better be able to back that statement up.If I am gonna waste calories on cheese curds, of which I am a connoisseur, they better be stellar, darn it !!! What ?? Identical cheese curds from a machine? The one's I got at a Dairy Queen 15 yrs ago were better! Seriously.At least they had the white cheddar cheese. But unless you LIKE cardboard saturated in oil cheese, get something else.Again, bartender barely interacted with, too busy with 3 men at the bar. Yeah, I've been snubbed by better places than this. Agree with the reviews below. Should've checked before we stopped (my fault), horribly slow service, very poor and disappointing food ("smothered" chicken was an unfrozen Tyson chicken breast I'm pretty sure, with a few slices of raw onion and green pepper and canned mushrooms). Very obvious it's a place the locals come to do pull tabs

Just say no!!!!. We have been there three times and all three times either the food was burned...all appetizers.. Or we have not gotten waited on. Since we r so close we thought we'd give it another try tonight.Took about ten minutes to get a menu... We ordered drinks which never came, we left after about 40 minutes. There was one bartender and one cook..poorly staffed. I don't how to give less than one star but if I could I would. We will not be back.We were not the only people who walked out.Some poor gal sat at the bar for 15 minutes with no drink and another couple couldn't get there bill.Yikes!Whoever the manager is.....you have business problems. Train your people and schedule properly.

Shitty service, shitty bartender, locals are called in to play pull tabs if your in a box. if you're not a local, avoid this bar and go anywhere else

Two blocks from my house this gem is awesome for being my neighborhood bar and grille top notch!

Nice greeting by our server who was was friendly and attentive throughout lunch. We arrived before noon and while there was only a couple of occupied tables, the bar was about 80% occupied with the local crowd who obviously enjoy a late morning beer (or three). The Grill has plenty of TVs a couple of pool tables, a pull tab booth, etc. The restroom was O.K. The cook, whom I greeted the couple of times he passed by to pick up supplies stored in the dining area, needs to smile or at least acknowledge a customer when they say "hello." I kinda had a "feeling" after looking around, including a peek into the kitchen and reviewing the menu, I ordered Chicken Fingers and tots something you typically can't screw up). My friend, who didn't have the same "feeling," went outside the safe zone and ordered a Taco Salad with chicken. Oh well, I warned her.The food arrived pretty quickly. I was right when ordering the chicken fingers. They arrived hot and the serving was plentiful (see photo). Unfortunately, the same couldn't be said for my friend's salad, which she described as her "worst salad ever." The chicken was the worst ever...chicken was old, seemed pressed and was chewy. The salad had very little lettuce and the "shell" was almost flimsy...obviously old. Our server removed the remaining salad and never asked if everything was OK. She's obviously become used to the lousy food and offered no comment. If you're passing through the town, don't make the mistake of stopping here. There MUST be a better option...but if not, keep driving.

Place is great! pulled pork was fantastic. clean and friendly. bloody Mary's were good.

We stopped there yesterday. We've driven by many times and decided to finally try it. Big Mistake. Our waitress was friendly. We first ordered the walleye sandwich - our waitress came back a bit later to tell us they were out of the walleye but she suggested the cod sandwich. We waited quite awhile for our sandwiches but we were in no hurry and understand short staffing these days. I had a couple bites - I looked at the meat - it was chicken. My husband and daughter both got chicken. I told another waitress,who was doing pretty much nothing, that our sandwiches were chicken, not the fish we ordered. She looked at it and said "It looks like fish to me." When our waitress happened by, we showed her our sandwiches. She agreed it was chicken and asked if we wanted the cod. We told her we did, given we had only eaten 1/3 of our meal. Bringing back the fish sandwich she did not bring our fries or tater tots. She remarked she thought we were through????? So, we asked for fries and tots to finish our meal. After awhile she came with some fries and tots but the amount wasn't even what we had left on our plates. When she brought the check she laughingly said we only had to pay for chicken sandwiches w/laugh, like we were getting a good deal. The other waitress came by laughing about this. We had not gotten an apology from either and told her I didn't think this was funny. This meal was not worth the $40 we had spent (had 2 beers). I would NEVER go back to that place or recommend it to anyone.

Well after today, I doubt I will recommend or come to your restaurant any time soon. Came for early lunch after attending Stacy-Lent Santa event at the firehouse with my 2 year old grandchild. Ordered immediately, but after an hour of waiting we started asking waitress when our food was coming. She indicated it would be up next. The waitress came with "our" food which ended up being the table that came in after us. She then came and told us basically "she didn't put the order in to the kitchen". She brought out my soup and my husband's food, both of which were warm at best. The rest had to wait for their food to come. We then ate in shifts. My grandson was starved and wanted to eat, but his food came out boiling hot and she put the food right in front of him. A little disgusted with the whole experience. Deb Hellquist
