St Charles Bakery

Absolutely LOVE this bakery. They ask what theme (if any) you have for birthday cakes and decorate the cake accordingly. My son just celebrated his 9th birthday and had a Minecraft party- they had not done Minecraft decorations before. They looked it up and mastered the decorations. It was great. We have 5 kids and we go to them for any bakery needs. Very personal, friendly and you leave with a smile.

I grew up in St. Charles and these are the best donuts I've ever had! I have moved a lot and have not found donuts as good as these. Be sure to get there early (before 8:00) if you want good ones! Also, they are closed on Mondays.

Arrived before 8am. Ordered Apple fritter bread. It would have been delicious if it had been made that day. Stale and dry. Very disappointed.
