The only thing I buy from this store is their FRESH meat. I love the jumbo chicken wings. They have very nice customer services at the meat department and is always staffed. Store looks clean. This is my secrets to go to store for grilling in the summer and deep frying year round.

I do not think many people know about this place but I am so glad I found it. It is located not in the best neighborhood but hey it is worth the price to go there. I would suggest not to dress nice when you shop there. There is a security officer at the door making sure you do not bring any crazy things with you. Do not try to steal. They stock some vegetables produce that are about to get bad so make sure you watch what you buy. I love their meat selection because they are so cheap but always make sure you check the expiration date. Usually I come here for their ribeye. A lot of people wait in line for the chicken wings because they always run out so I like to skip that line. They stock a lot of boxed food but still cheap prices. Overall I like this place, staff are super friendly. I like to chat with them when I am there. This place is not like Aldi other Asian grocery stores I have been to, it is organized and clean. Plenty of parking space but try to avoid rush hour time.

This is my new favorite treasure. It is a bit chaotic in the layout and organization and takes time to look at expiration dates but there are some great deals. I bought fresh collard greens that were huge and generously abundant, mustard greens and cilantro. I plan on buying some bulk meats for my dog as she is on a raw food diet. The staff was super friendly and helpful. A must see store.

I love this store. It is not Whole Foods, but you can get things here that you could never get in any other store at amazingly low prices. The star is the meat counter. I would bet that every bar selling chicken wings gets them here. They sell their meat by the pound, but with huge discounts for five and ten pound orders. Every cut of pork is here in enormous quantities and there is also good beef. This might be the only place in town that sells utility grade meat as one of a number of choices. This is great because that meat is perfectly great for braising, stews and ground meat--even grilling when properly marinaded at a fraction of the price of higher grades. The number and kinds of sausages were just great. You can buy hot links here, just like at the barbecue joints in town. Also huge amounts of boned catfish, which I love. They sell it cubed, ready for skewers and the grill. The produce section is a little small, but there are some things here that I haven't seen elsewhere, like aloe leaves. Of course southern greens and root vegetables are the star. Bags of frozen okra were a great surprise. If you like southern or Hispanic cooking, this is your go-to place. I came because of the happy television ad they have been running, and could not have been more pleased. The staff is great. I have now gone several times and will certainly continue to go here.

As far as I know, this is the only "food liquidator" in the Twin Cities. So Low sells old food. Food that might or might not be expired. So check the expiration dates and know that some food might not be up to your usual standards. But on that note there are some deals to be found. Pepperidge Farm shortcake cookies: six packages for 99 cents. 13 ounce bottles of Simply orange juice: 2 for 99 cents. If you see something you want, get it because tomorrow that pallet of spaghetti sauce will be gone. So Low also sells food that isn't old. It's a full-on grocery store that sells expired or close to expiring food. They also have an import aisle, mostly asian, mexican and some caribbean.

Its kind of like a thrift shop for food. Amazing deals but you cant always go in there and be sure of finding what you want. Some of the staples cost a bit more. Im guessing they provide them to offer the basics but the true savings are in the overstock. Out of date stuff is frozen and Ive only had one bad experience with rancid taco chips which they refunded. Although to my amusement, they at first resisted because I had opened it but how else would I know they were bad?BTW. The carryout service is a Byerlys touch. Tip ' em a buck or two for feeling fancy!

I cannot get over how friendly the staff is here. Great work ethics from absolutely everyone. The guys behind the meat counter step right up - not lazy and making you wait! The cashier runs around the store talking to everyone. I left my cart in the aisle for about 5 minutes while trying to decide on what to buy. She came and started putting the cart away. Wow! Efficient and so friendly. The cashier smiling and so nice. The guys who bagged the groceries stepped right up and did their job so quickly which In this day and age that is stellar. Thank you for your great customer service. For this reason alone I will be back!!
