Fast service, good food, plenty of TVs at the bar if you're a sports fan. Good beer and wine list! It's a great casual place for friends and family to get together! Definitely recommend this place! Plenty of free parking too!

One of my favorite restaurants in Minnesota. Comfortable interior with plenty of parking outside. Love the menu- so many appetizing choices and they have weekly specials. We started with the large shrimp appetizer and it was everything they promised. I then chose one of the weekly specials- the lobster banh mi and it was superb. Messy, delicious and perfect. It comes with fries but I upgraded to Brussel Sprouts and they were outstanding. It can be difficult to find a Grenache on wine menus but Smack Shack has a fantastic one. Service was good. We didn't feel rushed and they checked in with us regularly. Prices are moderate - it is lobster after all.

I always find the service here top notch. Everyone's super friendly. I love their clam chowder and fish and chips (very lightly breaded and tender). Good beer menu. Fun vibe. And if you like gambling they have pull tabs and a tri-wheel.

About 10 of my coworkers and I came here for happy hour recently. What a wonderful experience! They have happy hour specials in the entire restaurant, so we didn't have to cram into the bar area. We had a nice big table for all of us. Our server Britt didn't seem flustered with our group, even with us coming in at different times and placing orders randomly. She was great!The restaurant was clean and bright. The food was also really good. As a group, we ordered from both the happy hour menu and the regular menu. We were all impressed. Definitely going back!

Mmmm my first impression is I don't have any plans to visit this location again. The guy who was the host or working the front of the house wasn't the most pleasant person. My niece & I walked in & were greeted & he asked where we preferred to be sat. I suggested wherever happy hour is (dtwn location it's only the bar). His response was it's the entire restaurant, just tell me where you want to sit. Tone goes along way as well. If I weren't so tired & thrown by his demeanor, I would have walked out. I did mention to my niece that he must be having a bad day with a tone like that. He was much more pleasant when we left.... thanked as for stopping by.Restaurant was a bit empty when we arrived, but definitely picked up while we were there. Server was quiet & pleasant. She ID'd me, so I'll take that as very pleasant at my age of 40+. Lol My niece is a brand new 21, so I'm sure that was the reason. We enjoyed our HH Hurricanes & food. Drinks & food came out quickly.

I mean not that I'm looking for a reason to give this establishment less than 5 stars but if I were it's just not there. I've been to all three locations, Minneapolis, Roseville, and today Bloomington. We rode the Motorcycle since it was 65°+ outside. Parking wasn't an issue, and we were sat right away, and the service came by within a few minutes of us being sat. The menu was very easy to understand and not too cluttered. They had lots of appetizers but nothing that we were in the mood for. So when it was time to order our meals my other half ordered the Nashville Hot lobster sandwich, and I ordered the stuffed Salmon. The food came out piping hot, it was delicious and it was perfectly seasoned. I like how the food was plated, and I didn't have to add anything to my food it came out perfect. The decor in this restaurant was very nice. They also had a live performance that was going to start at 7 p.m. Lots of exciting things going on here besides great food and service, we will definitely return to try some more good eats!!

Lobster rolls in MN? And good? Must go here. Great and quick customer service. The wait was worth the food. Outstanding lobster roll, and they ask reg and large. Boy, oh boy, large is for the hungry. So much tastey lobster. Marked as fave on my yelp app.

The ambiance was relaxing as we listened to a local band. I had the lobster bisque and my husband had the Cesar salad, which were both delicious. The drink selection was great and it made for a great evening catching up with friends in an atmosphere that was busy, yet relaxing.

Calamari, peel and eat shrimp were great, and the cioppino was fantastic, good flavor and lots of seafood. Service was great, always there with a quick refill, great place for any celebration be it a birthday or a Tuesday.
