Sew Simple

I've been to Sew Simple many times now for different alterations and they always do a good job. My now husband even got his wedding suit altered there and it looked great! Normally she asks that you give her 2 weeks for large alterations but she usually finishes items quicker than that. A few months ago, I had to have a bridesmaid's dress hemmed for me that weekend and the owner rushed the dress and was able to complete it in 3 days! I highly recommend this business

I brought pair of trousers here last month for a wedding I was going to be in and she was very kind and efficient! It was finished sooner than the estimate, and very affordable. I'll certainly be going back.

Have been looking for a good tailor for so long and my search is over! Brought in a rush job dress that needed altering and she creatively solved my problem. On top of that was so friendly and kind. While I was there noticed something that had gotten on the dress (a spot) and she helped me get it out rather than penalizing me for the dress not being "clean." Will definitely be back.

After several more visits, each with some surprising unpleasant experience, I don't think I will return to this tailor. I brought in a sweatshirt and a henley and asked for the sleeves to be taken in. The tailor said she didn't have the sort of sewing machine to work on some portion of both items. I was okay with the hem being different than the original. She asked if I was sure several times, in a tone discouraging me from having the alteration done there. As she was taking measurements, she asked a question about the cuffs. I couldn't understand and asked if she could repeat her question. She got very frustrated and began raising her voice and tugged the cuff in a rough way.When I got the items back, the seams/hems themselves were fine, but the fit around the underarm is saggy.

I had a great experience here! The owner is so friendly and cute. She offers low and reasonable prices, too. Thank you so much!!

They do a great job and the prices can't be beat and the job will be done on time and she's not far from where I live so use her if you want a great job done

This place may provide good alterations but the costumer service is abismal. I brought in a bridesmaid's dress that needed to be taken out. It was a last minute alteration and I didn't have more than 4 days. The lady that was in the store proceeded to yell at me about how I was being delusional about the dress being done on time; my reaction was okay I will just go somewhere else. Oh no, it doesn't end here. Said lady made me try the dress anyways and when I did she started making body shaming remarks about me to my face. I didn't really care for her tone nor poor attitude. I will never come back to this place. And if the owner is reading this make sure your employees have some basic customer service skills and don't yell stuff at you like "dress too small, you too large".

Yelp, you've done me good again. I went to Sew Simple for an alteration to a chiffon dress after reading great reviews on Yelp. First off, the shop is located in the same building as Evergreen and the new Wedge Table, so you can drop off your clothes and get a great meal next door while you're at it. I had two issues with my dress: I needed it hemmed and widened, and to add complexity to the situation, I did not have additional fabric to add on to the dress. So, the fabulous seamstress made lemons out of lemonade and took the fabric from the bottom part of my dress and used that as the paneling. Voila! A few weeks later - at a faster pace than I needed - the dress was ready, and it now fits very nicely and looks great. The pricing is also very reasonable, a great deal for the quality work you get. I don't get my dresses altered, but when I do, I go to Sew Simple.

Wonderful hard working seamstress. Perfect job, reasonable price. Finished a day ahead of time and called me.

Brought in a maxi skirt and tricky pair of wide leg / flowing pants to be hemmed and she did a wonderful job. Very quick, thorough, reasonably priced. Will definitely return for future alterations.
