THE STAIRS. This is a beautiful venue, but it's an old old building with a tiny super slow elevator. Slower than you can imagine. No, slower. Just be prepared for that. If you are hosting an event here, be kind to your guests and have a bar on both the first and third floors.

An office staff so rude I am surprised they can get through an event booking. If you are looking for an event venue, run, don't walk away from this worn out building and a poor excuse for a business. Note dates on the Yelp reviews, the good ones are not recent. The recent ones are bad. Add this one to the recent and bad list.

My husband and I attended a wedding here and loved this charming venue! There is so much character here and it's truly a beautiful location to have a beautiful wedding!

Attended a wedding here last weekend and had a ball. The venue was absolutely stunning and the location was perfect for all. Our one and only complaint was how dirty the chandeliers were. They looked incredibly filmy and need a good clean. All in all, the mansion has a lot of character and is incredibly spacious. Perfect cozy spot for a wedding!

I was a guest for a wedding here this past Saturday. It was quite beautiful, the way everything was set up. The one word I came up with over and over again was CLASSY. Very dark, rich wood, pretty painted ceilings, tasteful decorations. The servers were polite, quick, and well-groomed. The food was good, albeit a bit bland. Other than that, the only thing I can even comment on is that the dance floor wasn't very big, for someone having a larger wedding (it worked for the 130 guests involved in this particular event.)

Fantastic wedding venue! Good food...if only the staff didn't seem like they were pissed you were there I might think about going back! Not sure if they're brought in by a catering company or what but they were embarrassing.

I have been to a few weddings at the Semple Mansion and each time I had an amazing time. The venue is absolutely gorgeous! I love the rich, historic feel. I highly recommend this venue. Parking is right across the street, too!

Just went to a wedding here and WOW. This venue blew me away with the incredible staircase to the murals painted on the walls. I can't wait to come back for another wedding someday!

I have been to the Semple Mansion on more than one occasion, once as a wedding guest and again as a direct customer of the venue. The historic building itself has a charm to it, but it has been poorly up-kept. There is not an ideal spot for grooms to get ready and the restrooms are dirty and jankity. What is even worse is the staff is horribly rude and downright insulting. The cost to rent the space is way above other venues but the value and service is lacking.

They clear your drinks before you are through even if you ask to leave them. Elevator was only on for you to get to the floor with the dinner and then you couldn't use it later to access another floors restroom or to go smoke.
