Selma's Ice Cream Parlor

One of the iconic ice cream shops on the St. Croix. It's changed a little from years past, they don't really have any indoor seating, only serve ice cream, but there is also a walk-up window now and LOTS of flavors.It was a nice day out the last time we drove by, so enjoyed a spot under a tree and a couple dishes of ice cream. I tried the black licorice, and thought it was fantastic. There were so many flavors to choose from though, you couldn't possibly go wrong.Enjoy a nice drive down to the river and a dish of something sweet!

Lovely little place. Nice outside area with a little landscaped pond and big rocks to sit on, which the kids enjoy. Large selection of ice cream, not made in house, but that is ok, it is high quality stuff made in Wisconsin from The Chocolate Shoppe. Also have a nice selection of candy for purchase. Good prices and super friendly people. My kids absolutely loveThis place after swimming at Lake St Croix Beach. A true gem

The ambiance is amazing! Super cute for families and a date. The service is pleasant, and the ice cream is definitely tasty. I got the adffogato with the exhausted parent and it was just delightful!

I've been going to Selma's since I was a little kid. Not only is the abundance of flavors exciting to explore, but the ambiance of downtown Afton is nostalgic, friendly, and relaxing. I highly recommend stopping by on a hot, sunny day.

I love this fabulous place. The owner is delightful and the ice cream is deliciously served in an old fashioned way is the very best. I recommend Selma's to anyone that loves great ice cream and great service.

Great homemade waffle cone with huge scoops of ice cream. Great outside seating. Repeat for sure!
