Being open until midnight on Wednesday, 7/3/24 is an automatic 5 stars from me! I came across this hidden gem while looking for cities to watch fireworks and knew my besties and I had to go. Lots of ice cream flavors to pick from. The chocolate lover in me went with something called pothole... I do not remember the exact name (so sorry). Regardless it was good and I'd definitely get the same flavor again. I got mine in a sugar cone. Next time, I'd enjoy it in a chocolate dipped waffle cone. Service was good and quick. Ice cream shop was old school like to me... gave me 90's ish diner vibes. Cute hidden spot in Bloomington. We enjoyed our icecream outside where there are a handful of tables and chairs to sit at. Highly recommend. They also gave us a coupon for future use.

Online on mule platforms it says they are open. However, unloaded my young kiddos and found out they are closed for the season and will reopen on march 15th.

They have Play-Doh ice cream so enough said...Great little ice cream shop right across from a mini golf course hidden in a strip mall, so it makes an excellent place to celebrate your after game victory. Lots of flavors to choose from, they offer Sebastian Joe's, Bridgeman's, Kemp's, and Cedarcrest ice cream flavors. Prices are excellent, $3 - $5 for one or two scoops. You can get SJ's ice cream for an absolute steal here. One of the best places to get hand dipped hard ice cream in the suburbs.

We love Scoops! It's close to our house and has the feeling of an old school ice cream shop. Everyone working there is friendly and they have a wide variety of flavors.

Such a fun place to visit on a hot summer day! Scoops is a small little ice cream shop that definitely stays busy. My mom and I decided to go get ice cream today for a little treat and I had never been to scoops. We waited in line for about 10 minutes. They have about 18-20 different flavor options to choose from, and multiple different ways for it to be severed. You can choose from a traditional cone, sugar cone, waffle cone, bowl, or waffle bowl. I chose to get a 2 scoop bowl with the flavors Banana Buttercup and S'more! Both were extremely delicious! They give you a lot of ice cream for your money here, I was stuffed by the time I got to the bottom of my bowl. My mom had a waffle cone with the Dragon Berry flavor, she didn't care for it too much, wished it had a bit more flavor. However I think she was less impressed because it was a sorbet. Either way we had a great time and will be coming back for some more treats!

My Favorite ice cream spot! Always lots of flavors to choose from. The flavors constantly change so it's always a surprise what will be available when you go. Some of my all-time favorites: banana cream pie, key lime, lemon bar, licorice, playdough!

If you are fortunate to find this place open. Go. Nice selection of ice creams. High quality! Makes summer great to have a place that doesn't serve Chocolate shoppe ice cream. Thanks

A west side Bloomington staple. Scoops is a 'must-visit' if you live nearby. Is it a big place? No. But it has loads of character. The ice cream parlor is only open in the Spring and Summer months and closes every winter making it's re-opening day a fun event for those in the neighborhood.Usually staffed by high school aged students. Expect a line especially if you go after any little league games at Dred Scott playfields across the street. There are a few tables outside of Scoops but not much for seating to enjoy your ice cream. Plan for that when you visit. Also, if there is a line, it will curve within the store and then out the door. It gives you a chance to survey all of the flavors before it's your turn to order. You can also check out all the memorabilia on the walls while you wait. When you go there, you'll see what I mean. They do have a wide variety of options and an extensive menu. You can get a cone, cup, shake, malt, etc. Also, they have a card reader or you can pay with cash. I think that's everything :)
