Amazing ice cream, friendly service, kayak and bike rentals. Scoops is right on the bike trail and close to Lake Francis in Elysian MN. Any campers in the area- this should be your go to place. It's a great little place all summer long to take a break, have a coffee or ice cream, hang out or see some live local entertainment. Good work Scoops owners!

Love this place! Quaint ice cream shop with tons of charm. The servers are super friendly. Huge assortment of flavors and the servings are huge. Plenty of outdoor seating and if you are lucky you will find live music. Check it out!

This is the cutest little place. We rented bikes and went biking on the nearby trail. So beautiful! Didn't get to try ice cream yet so can't give a rating on that part. Friendly staff!

Scoops offers a good selection of locally made ice cream that is hand scooped. They also have ice cream sandwiches made and then frozen for you to take with you. Hotdogs and coffee are also on the menu. there is plenty of room to eat inside and enjoy the air conditioning, but I chose to take my snack outside to sit in the shade on one of the many benches and enjoy the cool breeze.Scoops also rents bicycles so that you can take a tour around town. This is definitely a nice feature since the bike path, once an old train track, is right next to the store. In all, I think that Scoops is a very good addition to this classic small town.

Amazing small town ice cream shop! Service was exquisite! We had 6-7 different flavors and all were delicious! Daughter loved the playground and drawing with chalk! Next time I'm camping near by I'll be back!

We love this place! Great ice cream, tasty coffees, incredibly friendly staff, and even live music occasionally throughout the summer. Plus the owners, Nancy and Joe, are absolutely lovely people. This is a great small business to support!

Our first time here and probably our last. We weren't greeted, instead we were rushed to order and were spoken to very rudely by a younger girl with glasses. If you treat customers with that much disrespect maybe you should look elsewhere for a job. The ice cream was fine but the employees were all rude instead of warm and welcoming.

Owner was kind and gracious to us - a couple of overheated bicyclists on the trail. The ice cream was amazing. Loved the music.
