Schmitz's Economart

A small town grocery store that is open 24 hours a day and offers a full pharmacy, extensive liquor department, a great deli, and plenty of fresh produce and meat! Great place!

If you're vacationing in the area, Schmitz's Economart is a decent place to shop for groceries, baked goods, deli food and liquor. I was especially impressed with the quality of the produce during my last visit. Also impressive were the quality of the baked goods and the broad selection of craft beers in the liquor department. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful when I needed assistance. I would recommend this place to anyone vacationing in the area.

Stop here everytime we go on vacation up to Webb Lake. The prices are a tad high, so we pick up the main stuff at Walmart in Rice Lake on the way up. However, the liquor selection here is outstanding! And they always run great specials on stuff.The staff is also friendly and helpful.

My husband accidentally dropped $100.00 cash out of his wallet while grocery shopping here for a few days at our cabin. We love this place. We eat at their restaurant all the time. Everyone is always incredibly kind. We decided to stop in and speak to Shawn, the manager, to see if by any miracle someone turned in the money. He was so kind and helpful and immediately went to the office to check. It was there!! The employee that turned it in was working today. We went to thank her and give her a small reward. God bless Ali and her parents for teaching her kindness and honesty. Thank you Shawn and Ali. And thank you Econo mart for excellent customer service every time we visit Spooner.

Grocery store was a pleasant surprise. Grocery store had all of the basic needs. Rude and inept service at liquor portion of store. Could be a great option but so unfriendly and unhelpful.

This is the best option for groceries in the area, in my opinion.They have a nice produce area with lots of choices. Also a deli where you can eat in or do take out.The meat selection is equally expansive, as are the grocery and frozen foods section.They have a large selection of beers and wines. Also a sizable health and beauty aids section.Lots of parking out front, although it gets a little crazy with shoppers, so drive carefully in the lit.Friendly employees.

I'm a Spooner native and, every time I'm home, I make sure to hit up Economart to get any ingredients I need to make dinner for my parents. The liquor department is excellent; don't forget to get some WI brews. You've got to love a place in NW Wisconsin where you can get vegan cheese, fantastic wine, and bratwurst all in one fell swoop.Besides your great haul, it's satisfying to know you're supporting a locally-owned business.

Low prices for a small town area. Well stocked. Helpful staff. Good specials. Deli not great though
