Wow! What a great place! This was a 10/10 including food and service! The waiter was extremely attentive, he even filled up our eaters three times in the hour we were inside which is impressive and super kind. We talked with him and another customer sitting at a table nearby about movies and other local stuff and it was such a pleasant conversation, I love when what staff genuinely engage with their customers. We got two cans of soda, their chicken satay, cream cheese wontons, and their special curry and enjoyed all of them so much. The chicken satay was the perfect texture and the peanut sauce to pair was wonderful. The special curry came with a side of rice and they allow you to pick your spice level 1-5 which is always fun. We went with a 3 after he warned us they run hot and we enjoyed it, definitely had some spice as you had several bites but was very tolerable and added to the overall flavor well. Our bill came to right around 30 something which was so worth it for the quality of the food and service. The restaurant itself was about half full during early dinner time so it was very easy to walk in and get a table. The place is very simply decorated but clean with several tables and booths available. We will 100% be back and I recommend this for anyone wanting great service and food that comes out fast without sacrificing any quality, yum!

Waiting on my new tires to be placed on my car, I popped by to grab some lunch. It's just a few steps away from Discount Tires. It was spic and span clean inside, nice decor and I was greeted by a nice young lady upon entering. Service was fast and I enjoyed my order. I looooove Curry puffs, so I got an order of those and a 6pc fried wing.This location isn't too far from my job, so I'll definitely stop by for lunch.

Agree with other reviews. Really good food but not great. Love that you can order spicy level from 1-5 and 5 is actually truly spicy, even the server warned and questioned us twice. My son loves level 5 and I happily ate level 3 spice, my mom had level 1. Casual atmosphere, really great and attentive service. If you are looking for a cocktail or glass of wine with your meal, they sadly don't serve alcohol. We were there earlier (5pm) and had the place pretty much to ourselves on a Wed evening.Decent quality and good flavor. Everything appeared and tasted fresh. Very reasonably priced. Meals served with a good helping of rice. Not pictured were Sue's egg rolls which were very tasty!

Pretty decent local Thai chain. Went here with a group of friends. They took our order and provided explanations for some items in question. Staff were young and fun and the decor is a mix of Asian and Fast Casual. We were seated promptly and served within reason, but then the place got slammed with legit 20+ people showing up at once as we were ready to check out. Not their problem, and they prioritized us checking out to reduce our wait so kudos to the team. Curry PuffsNot my favorite item and I don't really don't think it's a good value. The filling was decent, but not really something to write home about. This brought down my review score. Panang Curry with Pork. A tasty curry with a splash of coconut milk on top. The vegetables and meat were a good blend. It comes with a side of rice. Interesting to note they bring a serving spoon then an eating one. Otherwise a tasty dish.

Food is good, not great.Service was a bit slow the day we came for dinner.Lots of different options.Flavors are good.Spicy scale actually spicy, which was a surprise!Everything was extra sauced, which we liked but not for everyone.Smaller venue, smaller lot.Really can only accommodate smaller groups especially during dinner time.Likely will not be back in future only because we are not from the area.Happy eating!

If you have a Thai craving this will fulfill them. Pad Thai can get a bit greasy at times but overall, tasty. Watch the spice level as it does ramp up quickly! Bit expensive compared to other spots, but they are consistent with the food.

I used to frequent this location when I lived in Bloomington so I thought I'd stop in. There is a sign that says to seat yourself at lunchtime. It took awhile for the server to come my with water and a menu. We went to this location for the lunch buffet but was disappointed to see it's only offered Mondays and Fridays. The fresh spring rolls I had were ok but the pork was very dry and the sauce was not the peanut sauce I'm accustomed too. The chicken pad Thai I ordered medium spice and it had a kick. It tasted prey good and like I remembered. The presentation was lacking and I wish there was more color because it really didn't look appealing. Even something as simple as a lime wedge on top would have made a huge difference. There is ample parking.

Met a friend here for lunch. There is a sign to seat yourself. However, it doesn't say to also take a menu. A server came up right away with water, then gave us time to look at the menu. Service was excellent, quick to refill water. My friend ordered the spring rolls and thoroughly enjoyed them. He also ordered the Green Curry with medium spice. The server warned him that their medium was quite spicy. He decided to go with it and was sorry he did. We found out after that they have a "sliding" scale. What he ordered was a 3. Next time, he'll try the 2. Even with the extra spice, he still enjoyed the dish I ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai, which was very good. There was plenty of large shrimp in the dish. Unlike many restaurants, this one gives you plenty of sauce on their food. The restaurant was clean and pleasant. I would definitely go back.

I've been to other Sawatdee's and this one was closest so I tried it. It was good, not great. Service was excellent, that's a fact. The fresh spring rolls were really good and the cream cheese wontons were just meh. I ordered Pad Sew Yew for my entree, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special. I was underwhelmed by the flavors. I would like to try their lunch buffet, to taste some other items though.

We have been so incredibly impressed with Sawatdee in Bloomington. The food is always delicious (it is spicy- we love super spicy food and typically go with 2 or 3 on the spice level), the service in wonderful, and it is super clean- even the bathrooms. We travel from St. Cloud to go to this restaurant. It's our favorite of all the Sawatdee locations. Our to go items: Pad Thai with Beef, Thai Style Pasta with Chicken, Egg Rolls, and Cream Cheese Wantons, which are literally the best wantons I've ever had!
