Thursday night wing deal is why I come by.Honestly, if this wasn't a staple of mine in college that I have dear memories of, I would never return. Service is always incredibly slow and sometimes they forget about you. It is always super loud to the point where you have to yell for anyone to hear you and after you leave the place, your ears thank you for removing yourself from a place that has such loud noises.Despite all that, the chicken wing deal here used to be the best there was. The wings are on the smaller side, but it used to be $5 for 2lbs of wings. It isn't like that anymore. I think its 2lbs of wings for $7 now. I get the dry rub and the buffalo as my top two choices of wing flavors. The blue cheese sauce for the wings here is one of the very few blue cheese sauces I enjoy. Normally, blue cheese is a hard pass for me.

The Yelp rating of 3 for Sally's is spot on. I used to work at the U of MN and patronized Sally's in both its old location and its new. It was our go to for Friday afterwork beers but after leaving the U several years ago I had not been back. However, recently I had a meeting on campus and we decided to go to Sally's afterwards for lunch. Although it was noon there were few diners. The menu is far from exciting mostly burgers and sandwiches. I had a reuben which was meh. The others in our group had equally unexciting choices. Service was good. Given the plethora of ethnic restaurants near the U there is really no reason to go to Sally's except for beer.

Busy spot, wings are popular, a good place to hang out . Lots of happy hour deals. 2nd happy hour is from 10- midnight

Came here from out of state while a friend was showing me around. Arrived around 5 or 6 pm on a Thursday and when I first walked in, it felt like chaos. There were people standing and sitting everywhere. It was so loud from the amount of people I felt like I had to yell across the table. It was self seating I think. I couldn't even tell, we just walked straight to a table and had to fight for one that had dirty glasses still on it and for people to leave. They seemed pretty understaffed for the amount of customers that were in the restaurant but we still got great service from the poor girl who seemed like she had to take care of half of the restaurant. The only thing we ordered were the Thursday special of $10 2lb bucket of wings. That was the only thing that was worth it. Just expect college kids everywhere since it's next to the university.

Slow to get waited on. The onion rings were tasty and I had a Castle Danger cream ale so it was worth it to stop here. I guess it was happy hour as the price was very reasonable.

It's been a while since I've been to the new version of Sally's. It is open and has nice big booths. Perfect for a larger group or a place to work. It was quiet on a Tuesday night and a few tables were working on projects together. This seemed like a good idea. I attempted to use the guest wi-fi and my computer didn't like it and said it wasn't secure. T-mobile's internet service also was spotty here too. My guess is there are a lot of people using it in the condos above. We ordered some appetizers for a group and used the QR code menu. It doesn't seem like this has been updated and the didn't have the cauliflower appetizer. The server offered to get us a physical menu and they only had one for the whole place and someone was using it. We were ok using the QR code as long as the menu gets updated in the future. This could become a pain point for servers and customers. Food: the buffalo chicken wrap was decent and spicy. It was filled with what seemed like quality chicken and lettuce. I ordered a side of veggies for an extra charge. Otherwise this would have come with chips. Fries/tots for extra charge as well. Appetizers: we ordered chips and salsa/guacamole. The salsa had an odd flavor but it seemed like the guacamole was good. I tried a cheese curd and those were tasty despite looking like a small bowl for the price. Overall, the servers were friendly and the space was accommodating to us. I would probably order the nachos in the future. Those looked good from what I saw another table order.

Sally's is my favorite gameday bar on campus, and we were excited to be back to kick off the 2022 season! Luckily it didn't fill up too much this game, so we were able to grab a table. I missed the gameday atmosphere and college-priced drinks! All the waitresses and bartenders we came into contact with were kind and helpful, even though it was busy. My go-to drink is always a sugar-free redbull vodka - it's the perfect pick-me-up for $6. The white tea shots are also great. Sallys is nothing too special, just a good bar. We were here around dinner time so we ordered a few apps to share!CHICKEN NACHOS: These were nothing out of the ordinary, but definitely hit the spot. A great gameday snack. BUFFALO WINGS: These wings were the perfect balance of flavorful and spicy. Loved their Buffalo sauce, but the wings themselves were tiny. CAPRESE FLATBREAD: This was nothing mind-blowing but it was a good flatbread! Definitely bar food and nothing Italian/authentic. HONEY GARLIC WINGS: These were the star of the show for us. They were sticky and sweet with the honey and the garlic gave them a great kick. I'll be ordering these again!

Customer service amazing the girl was so sweet. The drinks came out delicious they made some specially for us and the wings and everyone were great especially for the price definitely recommend

Great food special and bar staff. The manager and little man syndrome bouncer is a problem..They are some of the dumbest people you can ever meet. Bouncer said I can't leave- tries to hold people against their will.. just a bad experience. Everyone is underage and has fake id's. Total shit show.

Terrible service waitress took forever they are rude and they ask for a bigger tip when I had to flag down my waitress for every drink, and the manager is unacceptably rude
