My inaugural visit was the Baxter location and all subsequent visits have been at the current location, the former Gull Dam space. My first visit I tried a flight, including the intriguing PB & J Ale... that despite my skepticism, walked away the favorite. The beers were delicious, the beertenders friendly and helpful and the space comfortable. My six beer flight consisted of Ms Galena Sour, Boom Lake Lager, Crow Wing Cream Ale, Lunchbucket PB & J Ale, Reefer Car Peach Wheat, & 46 North Wild Rice Ale. All the beers were delicious but I returned later that night w a buddy for a pint of Lunch bucket PB & J Ale. Definitely don't pass up Roundhouse if you're in town or passing by, cheers.

I was impressed with my night out. The roundhouse had a fun live band outside, the place was clean, plenty of entertainment including board games, ax throwing, and music. The staff is very pleasant, helpful and quick.I enjoyed having the 6-flight option, which allowed me to sip on a little of everything. They are dog friendly on the patio :)

4.0* (out of 5)Food: n/a Atmosphere: 4* Value: 4* Service: 4*03/04/2023I always try to stop at a brewery in a city we are visiting so couldn't pass up the opportunity to check out the Roundhouse and was glad that we stopped. We were surprised at how many cars were in the parking lot and were impressed with the additional activities (such as axe throwing) that they advertised. The building and interior were modern and clean and the service was friendly and quick. The beer selection was good (around 20 on tap) and my wife and I shared a 6 sample beer Flight. We found most of the beers to be well above average and rated them all in Untappd.Definitely worth a stop if you are in the Nisswa / Gull Lake area.If you found this review helpful, please show your appreciation with a Like or a Follow.Photos copyright: happyhourdesmoines.com & thefoodanddrinkguy.com

Cute spot, great for groups. We sat outside on a Wednesday night & ate and got drinks. It was all good, lots of variety in the beverages and great service too. There was a live band inside that we heard while sitting outside. My food was good! Nice and modern location, really enjoyed it here.

This place has really stepped it up in the last year and matured into this space. The beer has gotten better and the service is still as good as ever. They've made some additions to the seating space with a loft area to sit inside and a stage outside with tons of tables, fire pits, and games. Cute merch to purchase as well! Snacks from von Hansen's like meat sticks and pretzels but also some bites to order from the kitchen like nachos! Tons of beer choices - a flight is the way to Go so you can try them all. Highly recommend putting this on your list to visit!

Stopped with friends at this spacious brewery on our way home from our cabin trip up north. It's a bit icy out and we didn't realize there was extra parking out back (there is!), which is the lot that leads to the taproom. That would've helped for those of us who had to trek through the ice and lawn to the back entrance! We got there a half hour after opening and taps weren't open yet - we didn't mind waiting but the woman working wasn't super welcoming to us out of towners. Oh well, at least the beer was good! I did ask her about the railroad references and it turns out this brewery originated in an old railroad depot in Brainerd but moved to Nisswa a few years ago. There's plenty of space - outdoors and indoors - good 90s alternative music playing and a basic pub menu. The beer cheese was a bit strange - not the best but my friends said the burger with brisket was good. Would have loved to do some axe throwing with my friends but the room wasn't open. Had the porter and it was a smooth, easy to drink porter. Not too heavy and perfect for lunch.

Nice spot to grab a beer. Ambience is a little dark for our preference. Live music was good! Foods a bit expensive so we didn't eat. But if you're looking for good beer swing in and grab one here.

Decided to stop by for lunch today and try the menu. You order online through your phine. (We had trouble and needed to use their WiFi to get it to work). We figured plates would be small so we ordered three items to share. We were so wrong! We had three huge plates come out and everything was amazing. We had the pretzels and beer cheese (so good!) The poutine fries and the nachos. Everything was so fresh and had great flavor. The hubby tired a few different beers but the strawberries seltzer was so refreshing. I am really hoping to stop by on a night when the band is playing!
