Here for the Wright/Hughes wedding. This is a beautiful outdoor venue. The "round barn" name came from just that, their round barn. This was where the dancing / music was. Really cool inside how you could see the people below, as you were above. The outdoor shelter where the food was, was large, open, and spacious. They had great outdoor facilities for restrooms and sitting areas. They also have a bed/breakfast on site. We didn't stay there, but the wedding party did. The outside seemed so pretty, so I can only imagine what the inside looked like. One of the owners/planners really helped my BF with getting bandaids, as he had new shoes that caused blisters. He was super thankful they had those on hand! Thank you for those!

We just got home from our July 4th vacation. Thanks to Kirk and Wendy for making a great stay in Red Wing. There are train tracks to cross and luckily did not get one to block our entry. At the entry, Kurt greeted us and led us to either bicycle or spinning room since the house was to ourselves. We went for the bicycle room since Kurt said it was roomier and quieter. It was a decent size and the bed was sooo comfortable. We had dinner at the Red Wing Brewery and returned back later that evening. The hot tub was nice and also on our floor was a fridge with some soda, ice tea, and other cold beverages to enjoy. Also, we could get either decaf coffee or hot tea on the main floor dining room with a Keruig. Late at night, the trains would pass by but the ear plugs were good for me and my wife. Afterwards, the morning we were greeted with fresh brew coffee and hot water for tea. Also, there was a banana nut pound cake with some butter spread to enjoy before breakfast. At 9AM, we were served a 3 course breakfast. First, we had a parfait with fresh fruit. Next, we had scrambled eggs, bacon, and a dutch apple pancake. Last, we split some homemade ice cream with rhubarb. Before checking out, Kirk gave us a tour of the barn and the pavilion. They were out of the Red Wing mugs but we got tips to visit downtown stores. So, we made it to the Red Wing Shoe visitor center/museum and the Uffda store.P.S. This used to be known as Round Barn Bed & Breakfast & Bread. But, they no longer bake bread in the fire brick oven due to Mn dept of health. So, it is known as Round Barn Bed & Breakfast.

It's hard not to give this venue 5 stars! An amazing spot for a wedding and Wendy and Kirk the owners are the best! Always there to make sure everything goes smoothly. My daughter choose this location for her wedding and it was truly amazing!! Let me start with the B&B. That's what sold it for my daughter. It has 5 rooms plus a bridal "get ready" suite. Our family was able to rent the B&B the night before the wedding too so most of the bridal party stayed there. It made for an easy transition into wedding day!The outdoor ceremony site is magical. The arch overlooking the grasslands and all the white chairs lined up makes the setting picture perfect. My favorite is the white door that's installed where all the bridal party walks through. The pavilion is way more beautiful than you would expect. With a few greens on the tables and the lovely chandeliers its way prettier than you would imagine. Then there's the historic Round Barn. For your venue there's drinks, dessert on the lower level and dancing with your preferred DJ on the top floor. Clearly a perfect venue for so many!

Amazing property. Our room was so cute. The food was delicious. The owners were so nice and welcoming to us. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on in my adult life. The owner took us on a tour of the barn and it is soooo cool. We loved our stay.

My wife and I stayed in the Willow Suite to celebrate our one year anniversary. It was absolutely beautiful and we loved our time here! The owners are wonderful and sweet. The breakfast was also amazing. We have never been to a bed and breakfast with such a good breakfast haha. If you have the chance, I'd highly recommend staying here for a relaxing get away.

We knew within the first 15 minutes at the site that we wanted our wedding a year out to be at Round Barn Farm. The arrangement of the buildings makes for a private, verdant, intimate space and the proximity to the Twin Cities made travel for far-traveling relatives simple. Their team led us through every step of the way and we felt easy putting our trust in their ability to plan and execute on the day of. Of the 170 or so invitees who attended, the most common compliment was the beauty and perfection of the wedding venue. They work with preferred local vendors, which makes selecting partners all the easier. I can't compliment them enough and hope you consider stopping by.

What a spectacular getaway for our 36th wedding anniversary. We had a crazy busy summer and coming here provided the refreshment, reflection and reset we needed. Wendy and Kirk's hospitality was so genuine and their Bed & Breakfast is absolutely stunning. We had the Cycle Room and every detail was perfectly placed in our room. The breakfast was amazing and they were so gracious to offer gluten-free items...it all was delicious. It was the perfect Fall getaway for us and we feel blessed to have found this place! We will be back next year!!Mark and Lisa Baltes

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Red Barn B & B. We were warmly greeted upon arrival by our hosts and given tour of the history of the buildings. Our room was quaint and cozy with treats for our enjoyment. We stayed in the Bicycle Room, which had a fireplace and jacuzzi bathtub. Coffee, tea, and banana bread were available for us in the early morning, and was followed up shortly afterward with a multi-course breakfast with the other guests and our hosts. We hope to return, and will certainly be recommending it to our family and friends!

Would not recommend! They went though the wedding party's bags during the ceremony and took some of them becuase of alcohol, we were not told they were doing this or knew what else they could have taken. They were not pleasant to work with and closed the bar early and the bar was a good jaunt from the dance area.
