My sister and I met up here last Saturday for lunch and I was completely satisfied with this great addition to Owatonna's downtown restaurant scene! The fried ravioli was soooo good and lunch combo menu is a phenomenal deal for $15! Seriously fantastic! Our service was top notch and so cute with the waiter's mom checking in on her! Would highly recommend this place for lunch. .I have head that dinner may be a bit over priced. I have not yet dined for dinner but that was a comment I received from two people who have.

Large, quiet restaurant. We were seated immediately, no reservations. Our server was highly attentive. Our food came out about 5 minutes after we ordered. The noodles were fresh. Portions were large. We each ordered a pasta and then asked for an extra plate to split a salad. Everything on the menu was completely separate which is rare in this community: sides or bread options were not included, though there were some 9 dollar breads listed among the appetizers. There were vast wine options, so I would recommend this place to wine connoisseurs. The chicken in the tortellini was very tough, but the sauce and asparagus was good. They need some local art on the walls and some plants in the windows. Total cost around $70 for 2 pastas one salad and a glass of wine.

A beautiful, new restaurant. Our server was friendly and very knowledgeable about answering our menu questions. All six of us had different entrees, and we all enjoyed them. The restaurant is very relaxing and comfortable. We had a wonderful time!

Went here Nov 15th at 1pm.. The Decor was disappointing didnt feel nor look Italian at all. Dark n Dreary grey walls as also the Dark bathroom not lit to well, Soap dispensers were hard to dispense and looked almost used.. but loved the handle bars in ALL stalls. My waiter Logan was very informative, very suggestive and explained the 2/$15... I loved how he was personal with us asking if we are traveling cause he was explaining how this Romas is connected to 2-3 other establishments til one of the managers rudely pulled him away.. He knows what makes a GREAT waiter. They didnt have Rasberry tea or Italian coffees So i had Water No Ice 2 lemon my friend had Mello Yellow. I chose Chicken Gnocchi soup needed some salt n pepper(they fry their Gnocchi so different Not a fan of that) and Rosemary Fries(AMAZING) My friend had Chicken Riggatoni w RoseMary fries. Had to flag dwn the waiter to refill our drinks. And he was avaliable like i hoped.. for the price it was great stop.. Remember...Always give a Tip for the waiter. I do 20%.

First off... Jennifer W. wouldn't know a good ambiance if it slapped them in the face... or so I assume, because this restaurant is the nicest establishment in this town, ambiance wise. I have eaten here on numerous occasions now and have been 100% pleased with each dish. I have yet to have the prosciutto bread so, it is unfortunate to hear the inconsistencies there, but am still going to try it, because "prosciutto bread". Have only had one experience that the service was subpar, but that is bound to happen from time to time. I will be back and I look forward to the market side opening for take out as well! I hope Roma's thrives and I hope the people of this small city learn to appreciate fine dining.

My big sister and I went to have dinner last night at Roma's but did not have a good experience with the service. Her name is Lori. She didn't really pay attention to us, ignored, and turned her back on my big sister when she asked the server if she was the only one working. She went to other customers, mind you, we had been waiting a long time and were really upset at this point. We had to wait a long time to order our appetizers and main dish separately. She then came back, answered my big sister's question, and started acting nice. I would say we were in that restaurant for about 3 hours or even more.

When I walked in for the first time, I thought this was such an upscale restaurant and the atmosphere was beautiful! The service was so-so and the food was the same. My food was excellent, but I took my friend to lunch for her birthday and could not have been more disappointed!! Her lasagne was burnt and they conveniently placed the burnt side down so you could not see it. When we finally tracked down our waitress, because she did not check on us, she knew exactly what we were going to say about the lasagne as she said it first! So unfortunate! I thought this place might have added some pizzazz to the town, but they will not be around long if they don't figure things out! I will not be back any time soon!

Our first time dining at Roma"s and unfortunately we will most likely not return. Our server was great; we felt welcomed by him and his timing was perfect. We enjoyed the look of the space. It was pretty empty for a Friday night and the lack of music only added to the silence. We were surprised to learn there were no drink or dinner features to consider. We started with a Blueberry Rosemary Gimlet and Limencello Drop; both drinks were delicious and not too sweet; perfect, in fact. For an appetizer, we ordered the Prosciutto Bread, which was described as being "stuffed" with meats and cheeses. The bread felt and tasted as though it had been microwaved and wasn't stuffed with anything. Instead, it was topped with burnt pieces of an unrecognizable meat and a sprinkle of cheese. It was dry and we asked for a side of marinara. Our server brought out the marinara and also a side of Alfredo; both sauces were absolutely delicious and improved the bread appetizer. Our entrees arrived with perfect timing. My husband had the Steak Risotto, which didn't have much taste. I had the lobster ravioli, which had a fishy taste, not sweet or buttery at all. A split lobster tail was placed over the ravoli; an interesting way to present the dish. It was difficult to get the grilled meat out of the shell and after I did, I had small pieces of shells in almost every bite. We typically will take a dessert to-go, but didn't want to chance another disappointing course. We are happy to pay higher prices for a great meal, but the food tonight was the least impressive part of our visit. Service was excellent and so were the cocktails.

Owatonna deserves so much better than what Roma's Italian Eatery offered on March 11, 2024. Gave the restaurant several month to work out all their opening jitters. Decided to give it a try last Monday to celebrate my husband's 54th birthday. We were surprised to find the restaurant fairly empty. Granted, it was a Monday but we figured it would have more patrons than the few tables and the lone customer bellied up to the bar. The space is surprisingly cold feeling. No decor, just a lot of green/grey hard surfaces. Anyways, on to the food. We ordered the calamari, chicken Alfredo, sirloin with chimichurri side, cheese cake, tiramisu, and 2 glasses of wine. 1. Calamari - Old rubber band texture/good breading2. Chicken Alfredo - Dry tasteless chicken/poorly sauces noodles.3. Sirloin- Cooked properly but poor cut of meat/chewy4. Chimichurri - Grey/black soaking in oil. Flavorless. Should be green and fresh tasting. 5. Cheese Cake - Tasted fine, but seems to have been frozen. Berries were super cold and cheese cake had a little freezer burn on it. 6. Tiramisu - Different take on presentation. Served in a glass with too much cream. 7. Chianti and Zinfandel wines were good and well priced. Give it a try if you want to see what Jerry's Super Club turned into. Or just belly up to the bar and join that one guy who is probably always sitting there. Or go to the Olive Garden and know what you are in for, It's really to bad Southern Minnesota has so few food options. I had hoped Roma's Italian Eatery could have changed this, but sadly it did not for me.
