This place. Love. Best liquor store in town. Small town vibe with the personable employees. Seriously. These guys are so sweet and helpful. They offer a discount for first responders and healthcare workers. Bring your badge. Support St Paul small businesses. These guys kept us alive during COVID. Lol

Great little neighborhood liquor store with friendly staff and a great selection of beer, wine, and spirits. Great selection of Minnesota vodkas. Picked up bottle of Skaalvenn, and it's very nice!

The other review has it right - the people who run this liquor store get how important customer service is. The place was a happy accidental find when I had some friends in the area. I have a neighborhood place I regular, but if I am in this area (or happen to be stopping at Little Caesar's next door) this is a must stop. They have a very decent selection of beers and they do a great job of featuring the local and unique. Prices are generally competitive, with deals that make the prices even better. As far as liquor stores go, I like this place. I think you'll like it too.

Sometimes I want to go across the street and buy alcohol from this store just because the people running it are so awesome and it gives me an excuse to visit with them. The first time I ventured across Snelling was to pick up some flavored vodka for the Halloween Jell-O shots that I made. The (I think) manager was so helpful. He spend probably half an hour talking to me about the different kinds of vodkas and what they go the best with. He suggested different mixtures that I could try to achieve the perfect Jell-O shot. The second time I graced their doorway was to pick up a bottle of Grey Goose for my birthday. Their largest bottle of Grey Goose was reasonably priced and has lasted me a very long time. The manager also showed me the specials they were having on wine and let me sample them. I believe they also do wine tasting on Wednesday. On Wednesday I had to pick up some alcohol for my friend's party. The manager and a woman (I think his wife) were running the store. The manager was a little busy, but the woman was also helpful. She rang me up quickly and I got to play with their new shitzu puppy that was chilling out on the counter.

New owners in the place and the service is just as friendly. It also seems like they changed the layout a little and the prices seem a titch lower. They care Flat Earth so it is my new go to place.

New owners are wonderful, having added a wall of beer from which you can mix-and-match a reasonably priced 6-pack. Great selection of vodka, and very friendly, helpful staff. Will return again and again.

I agree with previous posters about the charm of the people working here. They are so helpful and knowledgable. And for a very small store the selection is quite impressive. I stopped here the first time because it's on my way home from work, but now I'll go out of my way to go here.

These guys are absolutely the best! Always friendly, good advice, and great selection! If you ask for something they don't have, chances are they will have it in stock next time you're there. I used to live a few blocks away, and I still go there even though I moved to Minneapolis. That's how good they are. Plus they remembered my name after the second time I shopped there, now that says something!

This place is fun to go to. A group of friendly and interesting people, including two from Ukraine. Always happy to carry out if you buy more than a few items. A cozy store, but the selection is wide for both wine and beer. You should go there and see for yourself.

This is our favorite neighborhood liquor store in Highland Park. The owners are always so friendly and helpful. The one criticism I have is that their beer coolers aren't kept that cold, so it's almost a must to chill the beer at home first before drinking it.
