I called to just check pricing a small private 80th party and Amy was very agitated and very on edge. It's a beautiful spot I've been there before for events and I have family that lives in the area. I think they need to put their info on a website more than to challenge someone who was just calling to check on availability. Good lord

I recently attended a graduation party at Ridgetop. The outdoor event space itself is wonderful, but that's about all this venue has going for it. I understand that there isn't an enforceable COVID-19 order in Wisconsin, but the CDC is a national organization whose guidance should be followed by the food and beverage industry, regardless of where they're located. Ridgetop had an employee serving food but not dessert. Clearly, the purpose of the server was not COVID-19 related; it was to control how much food people were taking. Now you have people telling the server what they want with no barrier preventing spit from falling onto the food. I also don't want to think about how many hands touched those dessert tongs. We sat at a table that had been vacant for quite some time. The previous occupants left plates, napkins, glasses, and food all over the table. No one ever came by to clean up! Not going the extra mile during a pandemic is irresponsible and careless. Attendees could choose a beef or chicken taco. I can't even find a word to describe the flavor of the chicken; it was simply not good. About an hour into a 3-hour event, they were out of tomatoes. First time serving tacos? How do you not have a handle on how much of everything you will need when you have an employee doing the serving?Overall, the experience was less than stellar, and I will not be returning. If you're slated to attend an event at Ridgetop in the near future, exercise caution. The only one looking out for your well-being is you!
